Wii Remotes will not resync after using friends Fit Board

After using a friends Wii Fit Board, none of my remotes work. We have tried new batteries, resyncing the remotes, resyncing the Wii... Completely shutting down the Wii and restarting it and then tried again to resynce remotes. We tried checking our sensor on a different Wii to see if it was broke, not broke. NOTHING is working so far. Any new ideas.

Why do i have to sychronise my wii fit everytime i turn it on

Disconnect the wii from the power cable and let it sit. Then reconnect it and resync the remotes. If this doesn't work make sure you have the most current wii update.

We have done the checking of the wii fit board and it recegonizes it but then when trying to do a game any fit game it says step off and press A and we do and then it just keeps saying that over and over...

You could try these:

  • Turn it off and then try again without stepping on it before it asks you to.
  • Try reconnecting all the remotes.
  • If you have the board sitting on a thick carpet or something it might cause problems. Try using a hard surface.
  • Try getting the batteries out and then put them back in.
  • Try using another game for the Wii board. If it works it's not a hardware problem and you need to get another Wii fit disc.
  • There also seems to be an issue with rechargeable batteries (the constant charge may be damaging the unit). What you have to do is get a new board from the store you bought it and use AA cells, otherwise the new one might stop working also.

If none of these work your wii board might be faulty (damaged pressure sensors) and you would have to return it and get another one or a refund on your money.
Hope this helps!

We cant sync the wii balance board with wii but when we did once the wiimote desyncs

You need to resync the remotes. The sync button for them is in the battery compartment. When you are holding down the sync button on the remotes make sure they are pointed at the motion sensor bar.

Put new batteries in the remotes and the four lights blink twice when you push power

You might have to resync the remote take off the battery cover and push the red button under there to resync it with your wii, you will have to do the same thing with a brand new remote or when taking the remote from one wii console to a friends.

If this isnt working then your remote batteries are bad or you are having a hardware issue with the remote. Unless your trying to play a game cube game this is another issue and has nothing to do with your wii remote working or not.

post back if this dont fix your issue

I am having probelms getting the board to sych with the box please help !!!!

Simply turn on your Wii. Using the first player remote press the home button then go to the bottom of the screen and you'll see the controller sync screen. You should then see like a resync or something similar. Hot that and the Wii will make two ringing sounds. When this happens press and hold the 1+2 buttons on the remote and then after it connects press and hold the sync button on the Wii Fit board where you insert the batteries.

My handsets wont sincronise with the system, I have fitted new batteries

Follow this procedure:
1. Turn the Wii console on and wait until the "Health & Safety" screen appears (don't press A).
2. Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console, just below the disc drive, and press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. This will clear all synced Wii Remotes from the console.
3. Resync the Wii Remote by removing the battery cover and pressing the red "SYNC" button. Do this for all Wii Remotes you wish to use, and test for proper response.
4. If the steps above do not work, remove the batteries of the Wii Remote and leave them out for at least 2 or 3 minutes. Reinsert the batteries and sync the Wii Remote again. Test for proper response.
If after removing the batteries for several minutes, and resyncing the Wii Remote, your still unable to get the Wii Remotes to work, try syncing another Wii Remote if available.
* If another Wii Remote works, then your previous Wii Remote will need to be repaired.
* If multiple Wii Remotes do not work, or you only have one Wii Remote, a repair of the Wii console is necessary.

Why are my remotes not working

dont have a wii fit but, try to reconnect the remotes by pressing the button with the blue house on it on the wii remote, and pull up the wii remote settings. then, press the reconnect button on the remote and follow the directions. if that doesnt work, open the battery compartment on the remote and when the wii is on, press the red button inside the battery compartment on the wii remote that says SYNC. if that doesnt work, try the SYNC. button inside the wii itself. (located in the door in the FRONT of the wii. it has a spot for an SD (scandisk) memory card) it is a rectangular bigger button than the wiii remote. even if none of these options work THANKS FOR READING

Cannot synchronise the balance board

Make sure that the batteries in your Wiimotes are fresh. To know, when you start up the remote for the first time, the number of blue led lights blinking indicate battery life. With only one light blinking (or none), it's time to replace your batteries.
