Space bar key doesn't work

If space bar doesn work. then the space bar is failed keyboard. If letter keys move and work, space bar is failed.

Use your space bar to move carrier to desired location, hold down Alt key button on bottom left (next to space bar) and press the number 5 numeric key on top row. That should set your right margin.

hit the dash that is ABOVE and to the left of the OK then hit the space bar on the bottom. Space bar is the widest key on the bottom and actually looks like a typical keyboard space bar.

The phrase light is also the single space. If only the space bar doesn't workyou may have a bad keyboard or something under the space bar that is in the way.

You probably need a keyboard rebuild but you can try this. Gently pry the space bar off take something thin like a tooth pick and see if it will work when pushing down in the opening with the spring in it if it works stretch the spring just a little and try. If it doesn't contact Geo. beyers Co. @800-392-8085 for a rebuild. Tell them O'Reilly sent you.

if the keyboard is too old and if you have used it a lot, then ou have to replace the keyboard. The space bar alone had gone.

1. Press "return" key to left margin.
2. Press "margin release" key once.
3. Backspace to where you want the left margin
4. Press "Margin left" key.

For right margin, space bar to where it is, press margin release, space bar to where you want it, press "margin right" key.

You can easily fix your space bar. I fixed mine last month when my daughter pulled it out of the keyboard. I used this video tutorial guide to help install the space bar key back into place. Its really very simple. have a look:

Try buying a can of compressed air and cleaning around those areas if you have spilled liquid on them ,that could be the prob as well

on the upper L.H. side of the key board ther is a button marked MAR REL. turn typ. on press the return key then press the MAR REL key back space to move the carrier backwards or space bar to go forwords. when you are at the spot you need to be fined the button that reads L MRG. press it know your left hand margin is set,

know space the carrier over to the left by the space bar if it stops befor you whant it to press the MAR REL button space to where you whant.

now you have another button saying L MAR
press that and you left hand margin is set. Or the R MAR has small green letters saying L MAR if so you need to hold down the CODE key wile pressing the R MAG key ( any thing in green on key board can only be actavated by the code key ) hope this works
