The separation rubber piece broke. It hooks onto a tab over a metal flange. While trying to slip the new piece over the "t" which the metal flange is also on, a plastic piece behind the metal flipped off. Now I can't remember which way is up . Can anybody give a first grade description of how to put this back together? By the way, Brother graciously sent me the rubber piece free by Fedex. Peggy

If your talking about the plastic pieces that go between the leaf springs. Go to a place the sells or custom makes leaf springs. You know you have to remove and separate the springs to get them in place, right. Two bolts and two metal straps hold the springs in place.
Mark, try cleaning the feed rollers with a rubber restoring liquid or use wd40 in a spray form -spray onto cloth, wipe clean the rollers and then use a second dry cloth to 'dry' off any excess that hasnt soaked in,
leave for five minutes then try again,
usually woks for me, gets a little more life from the feed rollers.
To replace your side mirror, disconnect the battery's negative cable. Take off the interior door panel. Unplug the wiring harness if you have power-controlled mirrors. Take out the mirror bolts with either a socket wrench or a nut driver. Separate the actual mirror from the mirror assembly. Use a torx driver to extract the screws, and then pry the plastic tabs on the backing until the two pieces separate. Attach the new mirror to the assembly by snapping it onto the backing with the tabs.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Super VAG K+CAN V4.8
I believe the part you actually want is the motor endbell that houses the front motor bearing and it in turn allows the motor to be connected to the pump housing. The number you give is the motor model number...I will also need the motor serial number to ensure we quote you the correct version of the endbell you need as there are design changes from time-to-time. Please email than information to me via the contact us part of our website at www.arrowmotor.net. You should be able to purchase the endbell assuming AOSmith still makes it. John
Follow the directions below to determine what is slipping. You also can get a copy of your manual by going to iconservice.com and downloading one from the manuals tab. Here are the directions for testing the slipping problem.
* take nail polish or paint and place a mark starting on the front roller pulley and going onto the front roller metal shaft * then try to walk on it and see if the white mark separates
* if it does then the roller is bad and would need replaced or tap
screws placed through the pulley into the metal shaft to hold it in
place * if it doesn't separate then the drive belt is slipping
and most likely will need replaced, although you could try spraying belt
dressing on it to see if that would be a temporary fix. * if
neither of these is your problem and the walk belt is slipping then you
will need to try to adjust the screws in the back of the treadmill
through the end caps. these are allen wrench screws. Tighten each one the same amount such as 1 full turn to start with. see if you can now walk without it slipping. If not then tighten 1-2 more turn on both sides. If after 2-3 full turns it is not tight enough I would recommend replacing the walk belt.

If you have a spare prop try it. The prophub of your current prop may have a bad Rubber bushing. There are some OMC units which have a 2 piece design that still has the Rubber bushing but the prop is a separate piece and the inner hub is sold separately.
Most Mercs have the Rubber hub as part of the prop. The Rubber hub in any case is taking the place of a shearpin. The Rubber starts to slip or crumble and then you can't go anymore. Sometimes the damage is visible but only sometimes.
For the 1 piece system the Hub needs to have a new Rubber bushing installed at a Prop shop. With luck, the prop is your only problem.
I had the sme problem and took it took wolf camera. they would not support it. Soo I used it this way for a year with no problems. The inner LCD craked and and finally bought a new Z712 today for 199.00!
