The screen on my Sanyo model dp42647 just stays black with no picture or sound despite the green power light turning on
Hi there! The panel may be in protection mode. The Inverter board is the most logical area to start after checking power supply Voltages.(5,6,24 and 13Volts). There may be coils on the Inverter Board which have bad soldering or faulty. Other than this it may be main board which controls switch on or off. If all else fails, refer to a repairer. Model # KDL-40EX400 screen is black and green light is on steady picture off on power save mode but i cant get the tv to function out of that mode how can i do this
The power on the tv is turning off before the screen turns blue.Then it quickly turns bck on for about 9 seconds, then a quick OFF, then right back on, but screen stays black. It does it whether or not I use the Directv remote, or if the Directv box is on or off. I reset my Directv and called them, but I have to at least get to a screen for them to see if it is a Directv issue. Thank you.
