This sounds like a ccd problem, but may not be.
No matter, the camera needs some kind of repair.
Get in touch with Kodak, they may fix the camera for free if the ccd is a problem or damaged from the factory.

There may be other problems such as a loose cable in the camera itself.
The video is moving, but probably has the same event lines, but may be hard to see because it is a moving picture.
To test it to see what the menus are like, turn on the camera and run the menus. If no lines are in the menu screens, then the ccd is more than likely the problem.
Also, you ,may want to try this: Reset the complete menu back to the factory settings, most cameras have this setting. What tis may do is to reset all settings and may solve the problem...if not at least we tried.

I think, it's a CCD Error. That means a complete Line fails.

What is the memory capacity in Kodak EasyShare C140 Digital Camera?

a quick and very simple Google search mentions that 32GB will work and class 4 or higher...... but why you'd want to put that much memory (or more) into a battery eater i don't know..... forgive my sarcasm but i was curious of how hard you actually tried looking, and i deduce you didn't try at all!!!

Maximum memory capacity in Kodak EasyShare C140

The C140 works with SD and SDHC cards, up to 32GB in size. By swapping memory cards, you have essentially unlimited memory capacity.

You may use any brand SD/SDHC cards, though personally I would stick with the major brands.

Need cd for kodak easyshare c140

You may download Kodak software and more from here.
Bear in mind that you don't need Kodak software in order to use your Kodak camera.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I need to know if the kodak easyshare c140 has aperture mode

No. One problem with many point&shoot cameras is that they only let you point and shoot, giving you little to no control over the other aspects of photography.
