Samsung can't install *jar files without jad file. You have jar and you need to create jar file. TO create jad-- Download this software from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Telephony-SMS-GSM/JADMaker.shtml and drag your jar. In few seconds you get jad and now copy both jar and jad file (Same name) to the memory card. Now install from jad file.

If you dont have a pc suite for your phone, you can use a card reader and upload the .jar files in the memory card. insert the card back to your phone and open the .jar file. the system will prompt you to install the application or not.

Error on installing java games? i try to install a same game with the same phone, but my phone always saying that the download jar are invalid, while the oder phone installed the game correctly? please...

Hi,

before install games to your phone, make sure the java games (click to go free java games list) is compatible with your mobile phones, know your phone first especially entertainment capability features, including operation system or platform (like symbian, windows mobile, java mobile, flash etc), display screen resolution (like 128x160, 176x208, 176x220, 240x320, 320x240, 352x416 etc), 3D java support etc. (get free java games here) . If you get any sort of error, it's possible the games isn't compatible/or is not designed for your model. You will need to obtain a specific version for your model.

first of all Make sure the game is in a jar format (*.jar file) not a zipped file (*.zip or *.rar), most of games here are .jar format. If it has the zip or rar extension open the file in Winrar/winzip (download winrar) and look at its contents, if it has lots of files like a.class and image files then rename the *.rar (or *.zip) file as *.jar and transfer that to your phone. If in the zipped file it has a jar file and other files, extract just the jar file and transfer it to your phone. some phone models also need .jad format file to install the game, check out this post: Create .Jad file for .jar format Java games and apps, download any of .jad generator tools, create your .jad file and transfer .jar and .jad file to your phone.

When transferring the java games to your phone via usb cable, bluetooth, infrared, memory card (how to transfer photos, ring tones, games to your phone), the games and applications folder may not appear, this is normal. All you have to do is copy the file to the root directory (the main folder) and the phone will put the files into the correct places itself. There is no need to put the game in the others folder as it will just be a waste of time and the game will not work.

open/run the jar file to install the games, then enjoy it.

I do copy java games computer and past the memory card samsung J600 mobile no install game on the mobile

Samsung J600 Only Supports JAR format Java files for Applications.
If u are installing the files from your PC to Phone.
Follow this :-

1] First you have to create a JAD File of specific game.
To create a JAD file you need to convert your JAR file using JAD MAKER .

2] You can Download it from following address

http://www.geocities.com/mangokun/jadmaker/jadmaker.htm

3] After Conversion Transfer Both JAR and JAD files to phone's OTHER FILES Folder .

4] Now Close all applications on phone.

5]Then Enter This code on your phone

#*9998*4678255#
6] This will Activate Your JAVA ENGINE.

7] Now go to your OTHER FILES folder.

8] Select the JAD file and Press the LEFT SOFT KEY [Menu Key].

9] Now a option of install will happen .

10] Then follow the procedure and it will install your application in MY GAMES Folder.

Samsung j600 install problem

slide your mobile up.
then type in *#9998*4678255# it should say "Activated"
you have to put the game the JAD file and JAR file from your pc to ur mobile memory card in the other folder (other folder in memory card).
When you have put the game JAD file and JAR file on to your mobile then move them both from your memory card others folder to your mobile memory others folder.
Now go to the mobile memory others foder where the game JAD file is or sowftware should be and press the top left corner selction button. then press yes. the game or software should go straight to the java world folder.
REMEMBER you are installing the JAD file not JAR file when it is in yout mobile memory/ and make sure that the 2 files JAD and JAR allways get moved together.
i hope this helps you if you still need help email me to
[email protected] if i have helped you could you also send me a email. thanks
