YOU NEED A NEW BOOT ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR. WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR DOOR THERE SHOULD BE A GRAY RUBBERY RING. AS A MATTER OF FACT, IF YOU MOVE THAT RING AND PUT YOUR FINGERS IN IT YOU WILL PROBABLY FIND A MISSING SOCK OR TWO! THAT RING HAS TORN AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

I just ordered a replacement shipped for $96 from https://www.easyapplianceparts.com.
I had a trickle leak from the bottom of the door start in the last week. I cleaned the rubber gasket and cannot find evidence of any damage or holes but it still leaks. I was at a loss as to what to do and decided the seal must be worn out even though it appears fine.
Here is a video detailing the replacement process.

What was the cost of this part? Same problem, but it looks like a $116 item . . .

The following link explains how to determine where a leak may be coming from in a Whirlpool Duet:

In many cases, the rubber bellow (door seal) is the source of the leak and will need to be replaced. If the bellow is ripped or torn the following link explains step-by-step how to replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3574186-installing_a_door_bellow_on_a_front_load

NOTE: THe bellow does wear out from time to time and will need to be replaced. However, using too much detergent, the wrong type of detergent, or loading the washer excessively can contribute to premature wear and tear and deterioration.

If you have any questions, or are having problems determining where the source of where your leak may be coming from , please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Is the door seal dirty?
A dirty door seal can cause a leak. Remove and clean any dirt or deposits around the inner door seal with a damp cloth. The door glass seals against the rubber seal; dirt or deposits can prevent a proper seal and cause leaks.
