The buttons are not working/ cam not responding to buttons. Please do a powercycle. Remove battery and card from camera, wait for 10 seconds and reinsert battery only. check if it works. If not.. this is beyond troubleshooting so repair may be required.

How do i delete photos off the camera

Press your menu button. This will bring up several options and one of them should be a trash can symbol. Some cameras require you to switch to review mode before you can access the menu option for deleting.

Hi i would like to know how to delete pictures from my CANON DIGITAL POWERSHOT SD 850 IS camera.

If it's anything like my A620, go into Review mode (there should be a switch between a camera picture and a triangle play icon - you want the triangle), and navigate to the picture you want to delete. Then press the button with the trash can next to it.

The SMART ZOOM is not working - doesnt either come up in SET UP menu?

I fixed my problem myself. Simply read the top of the camera1.gif where it says TO USE SMART ZOOM SET IMAGE SIZE TO LESS THAN 2.8M
Then go to the very bottom button on your camera (there are three) and press it and reset your image size. Then your zoom will work.
Problem solved.
