Panasonic Viera Antiglare coating destroyed during cleaning ?

Model = TH-42PX70B Plasma TV the front glass has an anti-glare coating on it and is not just simply plexiglass. The coating has been wiped off during over-zealous cleaning. Can just the protective front casing be replaced ? I believe the actual plasma screen sits behind the tv case.
Are there any online retailers who sell direct to the public ?

    Thanks, but no good.
You need to watch your spelling also.
"partsore" was an advertisment for a domain/search engine

"partstore" which I presume you meant had 900 parts but not the screen casing - thanks for trying though.

PS I'm in the UK the model number gives it away ! So I need a U.K. supplier please.

I used a soap/water solution to clean my plasma screen but used a regular cloth instead of microfiber and now there are horrible streaks on the tv that won't go away. Help! Is there anything I can do?

You can try to use a harsher cleaner like lysol but sometimes the streaks are permanent. The screen is glass but some tvs have a glare reduction layer that can be destroyed with harsh cleaners (like lysol). Your soap cleaning shouldn't have damaged it.. I would try just water and see if the streaks change. If they keep changing as you clean, its probably some scummy residue, but if they apprear to be permanent, then it could be damage. I always recommend the store bought plasma cleaner with the microfiber cloth, but if you smoke or have a really dirty tv, sometimes you have to cut it with lysol or something. Clean at your own risk, as anything not made to clean the tv can sometimes cause damage. I've seen paper towels scratch the glossy frames sometimes even.. good luck

Tried to wipe off a small spot w some furniture polish on a t-shirt and now it is a large spot maybe from some residue. How can I best clean it without messing anything up?

Um, sorry to say. you may have damaged the unit. Panasonic plasma televisions have a coating on the glass front to reduce infra red emissions and reduce reflections. The only thing you should clean them with is a damp cloth (water only).
go to the local electronic shop and get a special cloth for cleaning flat panel displays and try that. if it doesn't come off with that, then it will need the front safety glass replaced.

I need to replace my panasonic plasma screen model; th-42px70b

I don't have a listing for your exact model, but the front glass for a similar model runs about $325. Is the front protective glass broken or is the LCD panel itself broken. If the LCD panel is damaged then you are looking at over $1000 for the replacement.
