All you have to do is

Step One
To save data, use EASEUS Data Recovery software (free version - 1GB of data recovery). how:
1. Download and install EASEUS Data Recovery
2. Insert micro SD
3. Open EASEUS Data Recovery, choose Complete Recovery - Next
4. Select the drive micro SD - Next
5. Save the data to the hard disk (max. 1GB)
6. Because of your micro SD 2GB, repeat the process of recovery (repeat step 2, 3, 4, 5)
After all data is secure, do the process repair micro SD

Step Two
The first alternative - use the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility

Using the HP Drive Key Boot Utility, for Win XP
1. Download and install the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
2. Then, double click the file cp006049.exe - select Install.



3. Insert micro SD
4. Then, open the program "HP Drive Key Boot Utility" - Next - select drive - Next - Create new or replace exiting configuration - Next - Hard drive - Next - Create new file system - Next - wait until the process is completed - Next - Create firmware flash package - Next - Finish.
5. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
6. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
7. Restore all data, to the micro SD.

Using the HP Drive Key Boot Utility, for Win Vista or Seven
1. Download and install the software HP Drive Key Boot Utility
2. Then, double click the file cp006049.exe - select Extract



3. Insert micro SD
4. Then, double click file hpdkbu.exe - Next - select drive - Next - Create new or replace exiting configuration - Next - Hard drive - Next - Create new file system - Next - wait until the process is completed - Next - Create firmware flash package - Next - Finish.
5. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
6. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
7. Restore all data, to the micro SD.


The second alternative - use software HDD Low Level Format Tool
1. Download and install HDD Low Level Format Tool
2. Insert micro SD
3. Open program HDD Low Level Format Tool, select micro SD - continue
4. Click S.M.A.R.T - click Get Smart Attributes
5. Click LOW LEVEL FORMAT - click Format this device
6. Wait until the process is complete - press OK
7. Remove the micro SD from the USB port, then insert it again.
8. Quick format micro SD (FAT file system)
9. Restore all data, to the micro SD.

If the second solution does not work, it means your micro SD damaged firmware. Based on experience, one of the causes of damage to the firmware is, the formatting process is done repeatedly, but always failed.

The USB cable does not work apparently, UNLESS you have a micro SD card inserted. You also have to manually transfer the pictures from the phone's internal memory to the SD card first, then you can transfer them to the PC via the USB cable. The USB connector on the phone is one of the new USB micro A or micro B connectors - make sure you get the correct one. It looks like the one on the phone charger.

hi 1st of all, reinstall the LG Pcsuite software, once that is done, you will see that a usb modem driver is also installed at the end of the process of installing the LG Pcsuite.

If you disconnect the usb cable from your mobile, then..

on your mobile go into the menu, then phone settings, then connectivity, there you will see USB connection mode.

If you click on USB connection mode you will see 3 options..
Data service, if selected tells your mobile to act as a modem when attached to your computer\
Mass Storage, if you select this option and then plug your usb cable back into your mobile, your computer will then discover your mobile phone as an external hard drive that will show up within Windows "My Computer", you are then able to browse your SD Micro memory card as an external hard drive and copy your files to your computer as simply as from one drive to another.
Remember if you want to use your phone again as a modem to go back to the USB connection mode menu and reselect Data Service.

reformat your card through your pc. don't go for quick format. if it doesn't works after that also then get a software 4 low level formatting. if then also it doesn't works ask me again.

if you have a micro sd car in your phone you can go into menu setings, phone settings, connectivity, usb connection mode, and chang it to data storage so your laptop finds your phone as a mass storage device (e.g. a usb)

make sure the phone is on data transfer (in phone settings - connectivity - usb connexion) if your using the lg suite.... plug the phone in first (to USB cable) then start the pc suite ,, if nothing... try using the connection wizard thing ,, it will search for connected phones.

You don`t need any pc suit. You muse set your phone:
Enter in the phone to: menu->setting->connectivity->USB connection mode and here set Mass storage. Now put the usb cable and you can transfer data form memory card to your pc.

Fixed it. All I needed to do was update the software drivers on my laptop. I have a sony vaio, so I looked up the software drivers they had online and downloaded them. After I installed them it worked flawlessly.
