My Soyo monitor says "Out of Range," and the only way I can get it to work is to mirror the two monitors. I have a Mac.
"Out Of Range" is more than just resolution. It means your video adapter is set to a resolution/refresh rate setting that is outside the range of supported signals.
Go into your Video Adapter's settings, look at resolution then the refresh rate (Hertz), and compare to those supported by the monitor.
When I had a similar problem, I noticed that somehow, the refresh rate was set at 59HZ which is unsupported. After changing to 60HZ (which is supported) the problem went away.
My soyo Topaz s too says: signal out of range. even I fix it everything in there place.
Out of range indicates that you have attempted to use a resolution the the monitor is incapable of handling.
Lower your resolution and try again until you can get it to do what you wish then try to do each monitors resolution individually.
