Is the 9ch snake cable correctly connected? TOM 3 should be plugged into the 4th input and TOM 1 should be plugged into the 2nd input. (1- SNARE, 2 -TOM, 3 -TOM, 4-TOM, 5-RIDE, 6-CRASH.........)
A weak snare is a characteristic of these... The triggers are typically piezo discs that were often used in musical cards but those have now gone to using very flat little speakers... You may find some have been dislodged or broken loose... worth a look inside.
There is a piezo sensor behind the pad typically. This can be dislodged or damaged. FIRST check your cables and try plugging the bass into another inout and see if it will trigger that sound. If not, you will need to repair the bass pedal.
SOME pedals have a sensitivity control which is a tiny pot accessable through a hole... this too is easily damaged if wrong type screwdriver is used to adjust it.
be sure and check for a broken cable, especially near the ends.
I see pictures that show an extra device beneath the Hi-Hat and the ads mention a "stereo hi-hat controller"... on the RHH130 there is a clutch to improve the feel of the Hi Hat... I think this is what you see in some ads.
Cut and paste:
This hi-hat pad design attaches to a standard hi-hat stand. Inside of the pad is a sensor system and built-in hi-hat clutch that feels, realistic when pressed. The RHH130 also features a dual zone design consisting of pad and edge sections that offer greater dynamic realism. The pad can also produce a foot splash.
Test the pad driving a different sound... If the pad is weak, the sensor probably came loose in it... They are a piezo disc usually like in older musical cards.
Some of the triggers have an adjustment pot that is very tender... ALSO there usually is a setting in the machine for sensitivity.
If this has just gone bad, it is likely the sensor came loose... repairable if one opens the pad...
try a wooden snare, a light kick drum, the most natural hi hat you can find, some soft cymbals and a selection of wooden and metal percussion instruments.
thanks gonna try this cheers man
