Maxent MX50X3 HDMI input

I have two problems with my Maxent MX 50X3. One is when my Comcast HD Cable box is plugged up using the Component video cables i get, what my cable tech calls, hum bars. I don't know what to do to get rid of this problem. The only thing that worked, for some reason, is using the HDMI input. When using the HDMI the picture was excellent. This brings up problem two. I came home one day and the HDMI input doesn't work at all. I just get a blue screen. I tried plugging my Samsung DVD player up, thinking it may be the cable, but the problem remains. Now I'm stuck using the component video with the hum bar problem. Also my 360 uses component video and has no hum bar problems. Can someone help me please?

I have the MX-50x3 moniter and everything was working just fine with the HDMI cable iinput, that is until I had to unplug all of the connections from the back of the moniter to move it. Now the moniter doesn't pick up the HDMI signal. The upper right hand corner of the moniter states "no support" when HDMI is selected. Everything is plugged back in to the exact locations they were in just 5 min's ago. Is there something wrong with the moniter or what?

same problem. I have a playstation 3 for use with HDMI and getting fustrated trying to wonder why it doesnt work. What a waste of time. I bought it nearly 2 1/2 years ago(and now assuming that it was a marketing trick) as promoting the product as a future wave of technology with its ONE HDMI port. Didnt care about HDMI back then, and NOW I DO>

I had the same problem and found that the ground wire outside where the cable companys box is was not even hooked up. It was just hanging there, once I hooked it up it went away. The cable company gave me the run around telling me it wasn't their fault. I now have Direct Tv.

I have a 42 inch maxent but i dont know where to plug my cable cord because i have a comcast box and theres no where in the t.v to plug my cable cord

If your comcast box has video (yellow), audio R (Red), audio L (White) out, just connect RC cables to the input of the TV at video, audio-in RC Jacks. If your comcast box has only RF out, buy one RF to audio-video converter and then connect these to the TV.

I am having problems programing my Maxent MX50X3 TV to our Direct TV system.

Hi, Your Direct TV system runs on channel 3 or 4 on the Maxent HDTV and the decoder box(PVR) works all the channels. So you might not be able to program your HDTV. Good luck.

How do I hook up my maxent tv to cable

use 1 of these 4 options
On the back of the cable box there should be outputs
Coaxial ( regular cable wire that screws on)
RCA plugs (yellow red & white )
Component plugs ( green, red, blue for video) (red, white for audio)
HDMI ( on HD cable box only)

After connecting make sure your tv is on the input you connected on the back of the TV

How do I connect to Sharp HDTV and Comcast cable

Your dvd recorder only has rca, red white yellow inputs it wont allow you to record in HD, although you can play your comcast box any hd, regular digital through and record. Hook up the comcast box if HD through preferably HDMI if not get one from comcast. The HD box is the only box that allow HDMI, component and regular RCA and some RF out. This way you can play HD to your set but also record through RCA or RF again will not allow for HD record unless its TiVo. Hope this helps

My antenna has a coax-my 50 in Maxent mx50X3 has no coax hook up. How do I connect these two?

That unit does not have a tuner so it does not have an antenna input. You need to connect a cable box, satellite box, VCR with a digital tuner (or an additional DTV box for converted input), or DVR to one of the HDMI, S-Video, or Component inputs to view TV.

Yes I had this problem. Unplug the power cord for 1 min then plug it back in. The tv will reset and the buttons then work again.
