SOURCE: asko t760 display panel

My Asko T761 had the same problem, power button lights up but the LCD panel if off. This is not the fuse becuase I replaced with "new fuse replacement kit" provide by Asko but this did not solve my problem. All I needed to do was press the "reset button".

SOURCE: Asko Washer/Dryer (WCAM 1812); Dryer not working.

Update: The dry cycle is now working! Apparently the automatic overload/shut off on the heating element got tripped. We had a technician out this morning. He unplugged the machine, removed the top of the unit, and simply pushed a little red/orange button that was on top of the heating element. When we plugged it back in the heating element worked again. The technician was able to troubleshoot this by checking the amps while running the dry cycle. But the proof was really when we did a load and the machine heated up (just like it used to) during the dry cycle. This was actually a relatively simply fix - though could be dangerous as you have to open up the electrical area. The reset button is rather inconspicuous and located on top of the heating element, which is long (runs front to back in the center part of the top of the machine - which you can get to by removing the lid/top outer housing) and silver - wrapped in insulation. It's pretty obvious. The button is in a little metal fixture on top of the heating element. The technician told us that the rest can get tripped when the unit overheats. (We think this happened when the laundry tub overfilled and the hose was totally submerged - the machine was working overtime to pump out the water.) The technician also warned that this can happen if the machine gets turned off suddenly mid-cycle - especially during the drying cycle. He said that the heating element gets so hot, it needs to have a gentle cool down period, which is marked on the dryer dial for the last 20 minutes of the cycle. I hope this helps others!

Dishwasher has stuck on wash cycle asko

Possible that the control panel is faulty and has errors. You can switch off the machine for sometime and if the fault repeats then it can be due to memory problems in the board.
check the filter on the washer. click on: Washer maintenance

My Asko 20004 washer has been running perfectly since November 1, 1996. On Friday, while washing a load, the washer suddenly stopped. No power, on-off switch did nothing and I checked the house fuses and...

Hello Rick,

Welcome to FixYa.

There are 2 internal fuses for the Asko washer, on the 20004 model they are located at the back next to the power cord...

i.e.

To remove and check the fuses you`ll need a flat/slotted screwdriver and place it in the slot of the fuse holder and turn them left 1/4 turn and pull out.

**The above is an image for removing the dryer fuse, but the same procedure applies**

Once removed this is what you should see...

I would also suggest removing the top of the washer to visually inspect the condition of the wires as a poor connection can cause the fuses to blow.

i.e.

The replacement part is a 240v 15 amp slow blow fuse. part number will be as listed below and it is a complete kit available at "repairclinic.com"

Gives me an OE on the display

It's the pump motor -Plug your machine and run a test cycle and check for some grinding noise. Pulled the pump out from under the washer instead of taking the whole thing apart much, much easier.

Asko 620 washing machine keeps filling

Sounds like your fill solenoid has stuck in the open position. There are 3 #20 Torx fittings along the back and you can lift off the top panel. The solenoid will be in the back left side.

I would shut off your house water supply to the machine and then do a voltage check to see if the solenoid is remaining energized. Another more simple option is to give the device a few light taps as some debris may have become trapped inside and caused it to become stuck open.

Washer stops in middle of cycle,

Junk it! Cut you losses now. I had a Calypso for 6 years and went through 3 pumps, various circuit boards , a drive motor ,etc..... not to mention the down time of not having a washer in a 4 person household. We bought a Whirlpool Duet HT 9200. Clean , fresh laundry not all balled up anymore. Junk it. You'll thank me.
