Hi turn it on normally press & hold power button for 30 seconds it should turn of don't do anything for 3 minutes then press the power button for 5 seconds hopefully it will power up normally. cheers
is your nextbook running Windows 10? chances are you got an adware on your laptop. I recommend reinstalling Windows and when you are done download and install Chrome browser because it has an extension called adblock plus which is free and you can use it to protect your computer from ads.

I might be defective. I'd return it for a new one because it's having issues that will dog you forever Ali. It'll sneak up and be nice for awhile and then when you least expect it.....it will return.
Nextbooks do this when playing intensive games. They just aren't up to the demand on the CPU. Unless you were clearly warned about ths issue I'd say it is a warranty claim. Try to swap it for a games -capable brand.
