Question about Panasonic Video Cameras
Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
Good luck!

Hi There, You probably have a blown out fuse. Unless your a service tech with a service manual, it may be hard for you to locate where the fuses are. A panasonic service depot could give you a proper estimate.
Thanks, mr cicmo

get a capture card, an AV cord ( red, yellow and white cord) and record it onto the computer. This will push the date and time stamp onto the video. There really isnt any other quick solution :-(, unless you sport 800$ for a highend camera, then all harddrive cameras have this problem.

SOURCE: Connecting Panasonic SDR-H80 video to PC / Mac without AC lead?
hi, you can record on a SD card that you can then remove and read through an SD card Reader (a usb key where you slip the card and pof! you have it).
For the Mac/ Pc/ Power adaptor I have the same problems. tell me if your quest for knowledge was fruitfull anywhere else.

Hi, the VideoCam software isn't compatible with Windows 7, but you can still copy videos and pictures to your computer and edit or view them with other software. Videos are saved by default as MPEG-2 files, and photos are saved as JPEG files -- both of these formats are recognized by a wide variety of programs. (For example, Microsoft's Picture Viewer, which comes with Windows, can display JPEGs, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager can edit them.)
