SOURCE: KENMORE HE2T WASHING MACHINE
"F25" is a tachometer error. If the control unit is unable to detect the proper motor speed, the machine will shut down. You can attempt to unplug the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches. If the error reappears, the manufacturer recommends the following:
1. Check the wiring harness between the Central Control Unit, Motor Control Unit and Drive Motor to ensure they are all connected properly and not broken or loose. This would be connections L2 and N1 at the MCU and connector MS2 pins 1 and 2 at the CCU. (There is a wiring diagram inside the washer behind the lower kick panel).
2. Verify the Drive Motor is turning and the motor windings are good. Resistance checks at the drive motor connector acros Pins 1 to 2, 2 to 3, and 1 to 3 should all read about 6 ohms.
I hope this helps you.
PS I believe the tachometer is a physically attached to the drive motor.
SOURCE: how do i replace the pump in a kenmore he2t front ...
Hi,
The outlet pump can be easily identified by reverse tracing the outlet pipe most of the unit will have at the back of the unit so remove the back side cover you can see the pump two clips will be present one from the drum and another is connected to the outlet pipe just remove the clips then two screws will be presented kindly remove those to unfix the pump from the machine then you can easily replace the pump

It appears your timer/main controller/CCU has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.
Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question

SOURCE: I have a kenmore he2t washing machine. The door
Hello Carl,
Welcome to FixYa.
In the case where the door won't open it is typically due to the pressure switch telling the control water is still present in the basket/tub...even if you can't see it, hence the control will not allow the door to unlock.
The first step then is to insure water is removed from the unit via the filter in the pump. If you are near a floor drain this won't be too bad, if not...a wet-dry shop vac and towels close by is recommended.
Remove the access panel at the bottom below the basket door and there you should see something like what is show here...the pump and removable filter. ( Being yours is the HE2 model it will be slightly different but the procedure is the same )
**Turn the breaker off to the machine or unplug it from the wall...safety first*
Should the door still refuse to unlock there is a manual unlock cord attached to the lock/door switch assembly.
From the opening of the bottom panel you'll need to twist yourself around to look up at the latch assembly or feel around for the latch, locate the "loop" and pulling it should open the door, this image shows what to look for...from the perspective I mentioned, looking up from the bottom.
That should do it, keep me posted. Thank you for choosing FixYa today, please take a moment to rate my info and leave a testimony.
Let me know how you make out or if anything is not clear and I'll help in whatever manner I can going forward. Good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)
