Describing the process as i've done for my peugeot 307. may be it can help you.
Open the bonnet. Look where the Clutch & Brake Oil Pan is. Right under this on Engine there is a black plastic round shaped (sometimes a rectangular type box) with fuel pipes for inlet and outlet. If you look from battery side, there is a small plastic bolt mounted downside the filter. loose it and let some petrol bleed. If there is air, then you'll hear the air escaping sound with bubbles. Tight it and start (ignition to crank) the engine to pump some fuel in filter from tank. Repeat the same procedure 2-3 times and there should be no air in filter and your car should start smoothly.
I confused with the answers I getting ,some people say peugeot 307fuel filter is inside the fuel pump some say located under the battery, please give me the correct answer I am stuck.
There is no replacable petrol filter fitted to 307 it is built into the fuel pump fitted inside the fuel tank.put more than £5 in tank then retry after disconecting battery for 10secs
The Peugeot 307 was never sold in the USA... Peugeot stopped selling cars in the USA in 1991 with the 405 and 505 models. The 307 Model is made in Mexico for the South American market. Crate Engines are exported to Cuba and used in many 1950's model Chevrolets we often see in films there.
