There is a water evaporation tray in the back of the frig. Air pressure fron closing door makes air bubble thru tray. Its not a problem.

We are having a similar issue when the freezer door is closed. It didn't do it at first.

    How can that be fixed?

look in the motor compartment at the back- you may have to remove a cover panel.
You shold find a plastic tube entering a compartment of water. some frig have an AIR VENT on the tubewhich may be blocked- clean it.
Have someone operate the door and u will see where the bubbling noise comes from.
You may have to cut tube shorter so it does not end in the water to stop the noise

My 2 day old Freezer makes a gurgling noise when closing. I am worried that it is faulty

you're probably just hearing the door pulling tighter shut because it's so cold inside and you have a perfect seal

Freezer gurgles

    • Give it mouth wash lol

Check the water valve on the back of the refrigerator if it has an ice maker. Make sure the valve is turned completely on and not constricting the flow of water to the refrigerator via the water supply line. You might also hear a simultaneous buzzing sound when the gurgling noise occurs. In some refrigerator models, this filling process is on a timer, and you might hear the buzzing and/or gurgling every 15 minutes or so.

    • Check the water supply line for leaks or damage. You might see a puddle of liquid on the floor. If air is pulled into the water line as the refrigerator is pulling in water, that can create a gurgling noise. Replace the damaged hose yourself, or contact an appliance repair technician for assistance

      • f he refrigerator to feel a slight vibration. This is probably the compressor processing the refrigerant, which is a liquid. This flow of refrigerant can produce a gurgling sound, and it is normal. However, a simple way to reduce this noise is to make fewer trips to the fridge. When you open the door, you let hot air in, which means the compressor has to work harder (and gurgle the refrigerant more) to cool things back down.

    • Wait while the refrigerator completes its defrosting cycle if you hear water dripping and gurgling in the freezer area. When the heating coil turns on, the melted water from the frost flows down to a drain pan for evaporation to take place. The defrost process usually takes about 30 minutes. This is automatic and cannot be prevented in most refrigerators. Keep the closed to try to prevent unnecessary frost buildup.

    • Wait while the water equalizes in the refrigerator if you hear a gurgling sound when shutting the door. This is normal and is a result of air being forced through the drain tube. The gurgling can last several seconds but should eventually dissipate this usually happens with old fridges upgrade its a good investment

Our Thermador Freezer door seals so hard after being opened that you can't open it again. Why? Also Sometimes after opening it makes this weird gurling/bubbly noise.

thermodynamics: pressure differential when warm air cools causing a difference in pressure. after closing a freezer wait until the pressure equalizes usually within 10-15 seconds then reopen the freezer. as far as the gurgling this is normal. it is the drain tube usually a J type tube that prevents warm air from returning into the freezer.

Door Make Noise When Open and Closing.

If it is a squeak, you can lubricate the door hinges. If it is some other noise you will need to describe it.

Unit runs continually with gurgling sounds

defrost fully once a year or more if you notice it frosting up.it should run at minus 18c to 20 c for best results. 0f is fine.gurgling noise is normal (liquid turning to gas before compressor turns it back to liquid).make sure door seals all round and the kids close the door asap after use......also if you portion up food prior to freezing and vacpack it it will last longer.and be easier to store/rotate.

Refrigerator makes loud noise every once in a while

I m not to good at hearing up close these days. I need a description of the sound and where its coming form high, low, back front, top back?

1 thing refrigerators can do is gurgle when they shut off and this is normal.
Another is the inside fan (evaporator fan) can be whirling and the bearings going out and it will make all kinds of racket. Open the freezer then the refrigerator door next time and see if its louder in 1 place than the other. Does it make this noise when it stops? A compressor has internal mounting springs and this can cause a knock or heavy thud when it cuts off sometimes but it can still work for a long time.

Gurgling noise

gurgling noises are not unusual - after all there is a gas/liquid mixture being circulated
