How to Turn Off Split Screen on iPad Split View is enabled by default on the iPad. To utilize the feature, you can drag an app from your dock to the right or left edge of your screen to open the app on a portion of the screen. If you have multiple apps open and want to close one without turning off the Split Screen or Multitasking functions in settings, you can return to a full-screen view of a single app by dragging the edge of the app you want to remove to the edge of the screen.

If, however, by "getting rid of split screen on iPad" you mean turning the feature off completely, that's something you can do in Settings. To turn off split screen on the iPad:

But what if you want to get rid of split screen in Safari? What if you're done using the two tabs-how do you turn split screen on the iPad off? To close split screen in Safari on your iPad, you can do one of the following things:

• Drag the tab(s) from one of the screens to the other. Once the last tab has been dragged to the opposite side, Safari will return to full screen, which will turn off split screen.
• Or, you can tap and hold the tabs icon, which looks like two overlapping squares. Then select Merge All Tabs. This will merge all your Safari tabs back into a single window, which gets rid of split screen.

Logging into your Amazon.com account through the Kindle app registers your device to your Amazon.com account. Signing Out and Deregistering If you sign out of the Kindle app, your reading app is deregistered from your Amazon.com account. When you deregister, you can't download content to the Kindle app or send purchases to the app unless you register again. To deregister using the Kindle app: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. 2. Tap the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. 3. Tap "Update" under the Registration field and then tap the Deregister button. To deregister online: 1. Visit Manage Your Kindle on Amazon.com. 2. Open the Manage Your Devices section and locate your registered Kindle app. 3. Reset the App

1. Double-click the Home button. This minimizes the app and displays the iPad's multitasking screen.

2. Drag the stuck app upwards on the screen. This forces the app to close and removes it from the iPad's memory.

3. Press the Home button to display the iPad's home screen. Tap the app's icon to relaunch it. Any unsaved data, like words you typed in a document or progress in a game, is lost, but the app opens and should respond normally.

There is an APP store icon on your iPad. Open the APP store icon.In the upper right of the creen find the block into which you should type UTube. The screen will than display many choices of Utube apps.

If the creator of this app did not design an iPad interface to address the larger screen the only way you can use this app on the iPad is in iPhone-Display-Mode which is in portrait rotation.

The iPad displays a little (1X) or (2X) button in the lower right corner to switch between zoomed twice and regular view. That is not part of the app.

You can't do anything about this but nicely asked the author of the app to add an iPad interface to his app.

Double-click the Home button and you will see small windows of all the Apps that are currently open. Swipe upwards on one of these windows and it should close. You can continue this process on any other Apps that you wish to close.

Is it really gone? From the home screen, swipe down from middle of the screen to show iPad search. Type "App Store" in the search box. Scroll down to Applications section. Is App Store there? If so, it's on your iPad - perhaps dragged into a group somewhere.

If not, plug your iPad into the desktop Mac or PC you're using to sync. Select the iPad in the left column and click the Apps header. Scroll the list until you find the App Store app. The button should say "Install". If so, click it, then sync your iPad.
