SOURCE: Unit Runs (fan and condenser) but no water?

By condenser I assume you mean the compressor is running. Is there ice forming on the front coil?

SOURCE: Water drips from evaporator fan channel Frigidaire FRT17G4B

It sounds as if this is a top mounted refrigerator. (freezer on top) If this is the case, check to see if you need to defrost the drain. You could also have a problem with the door seals. Remember the air coming out of the vent is freezer temp minus a few degrees. It could be that the moisture is condensing in that area.

SOURCE: ac does not blow cold at idle... ac condenser fan

that seems to be the problem. If the fan does not turn on when the a/c is turned on it could be a fuse, relay, control box, or just a bad fan. Try connecting the fan directly to see if it works. Does this car have 2 fans? normally all the small cars have 2 fans one for the engine cooling and one to assist the first when the a/c is turned on. Without the fan pulling air through the a/c condensor the had pressure goes up high enough to shut off the a/c compressor. It also causes some cars to run warmer than usual when stopped. Check the a/c condensor for blockage also which doesn't have anything to do with your fan not working.

SOURCE: How do I clear the AC condensate drain on my 2008 CX-9?

Hello... It is possible that the condensation drain tube for the AC could be disconnected. This just happens sometime. This in turn allows condensation to settle in the AC Module and drip into the passenger compartment.

I recommend taking the vehicle to a mechanic for repairs...

Good Luck... Hope this helps...

SOURCE: 2001 Nissan Xterra Ac condenser Fan not getting

suspect relay. there will be a relay in fuse for ac fan. usually there are several relays of the same type in the fuse box. look for numbers on the relay to be the same then pull them and switch to see if the relay way bad.if so get a new one. if still nothing make sure no obstruction to fan blade. if no then suspect fan motor. get 12v to fan to see. fans are held in by two bolts on top and they just set in holder so remove the two screws and unplug the power cord and you can lift it right out of the vehicle. then get 12v to the motor contacts and see if it is ok. good luck

I just put my AC into in my window and it leaks after it is on for approximately 2 days (not continuously). How exactly do I level it so this doesn't happen???

They are designed to be a little out of level with the back edge on the outside LOWER so that the condensation runs to the back and overflows to the ground.

Water dripping from Friedrich Air Conditioner CP05 model annoying downstairs neighbour. Is there a drain hose for this model? Other solution?

Window unit A/C units must be mounted level side-to-side and slightly tilted down to the outside coil The condensation (water) that forms on the cooling coil drips from the coil and collects in a metal tray. The slight tilt of the case allows the water to drain toward the condenser coil and fan. The outside fan blade tip is positioned very close to the condensation water catch pan and the water is picked up by the rotating fan blade and thrown onto the condenser coil where it evaporates and accomplishes two things. This keeps water from dripping on the ground and lowers the head pressure of the system to improve the efficiency of the unit.

I have kenmore window ac model 24121 where and how can i drain water from ac

Most window units use the fan blade to sling the condensate onto the coil to evaporate it. Sometimes production is too high and drips out any available crevice or hole on the corner. You may need a service to clean everything real good. Is it leaking indoors?

Be sure you check engine oil level often. The low oil sensor will disable the ignition. If you turn A/C on the cooling fan should run continuous, Check the fan relays. Make sure coolant level is correct at recovery bottle, never open radiator cap. A scald hazard exist, be careful. This car is old and complicated, and is beyond your skill level to repair. Try to inquire here for advice, whenever possible. Don't throw good money at bad money

Water drips into the camper through the foam rubber air intake, after it runs for awhille

Sounds like your drains for drip pan under the evaporator area are plugged. They are located at the base of the AC unit on roof. Look real close under AC unit near front, for a hole in base plate of AC on each side. Water ( condensation ) should be dripping out of those holes pretty steady when running.
You should have an inch or so clearance between base of AC and roof to try and get a bent piece of wire, or similar in to hole and try to clean it out. If that doesn't help you will have to remove plastic cover and remove all the screws that hold the front cover over the evaporator and remove the front metal cover. Look down at base of the coils and fins and you will see a drip pan that has small holes at each end for drainage. They will get plugged up with debris, thus poor, if any drainage. I use a long air nozzle and a small compressor to blow them and the tray out to clean it well. That will usually cure your problem. Please remember to shut all power to AC, off at breaker panel before removing the cover on roof to avoid electrical shock.

Air condition leaks into driver side and rear floor board

The evaporator box drain is stopped up.Under hood, under the firewall, right below the ac lines, you will find the drain.Take a small wire, like balin wire and move it in and out of the drain hole to relieve the water,it will pour out pretty good.If this doesn`t work, try compressed air pressure.I hope this helps.

Air conditioner leaks water into the passenger side

the moisture dripping into your passenger compartment is condensation that is supposed to be dripping out of the a/c box via a tube that runs along the firewall to the bottom of the car(thats where the water on the ground comes from on most rigs that have been running a/c for a while). it sounds like the drain hose, or the base of the a/c box where the hose attatches has gotten clogged. if you can get to where the hose attatches to the box, remove it and blow air through the hose. before reatatching the hose, be sure there is noting blocking the niple on the bottom of the box. you should be able to get a pick or small screwdriver through the hole to clear the debris. if that fails to work you will most likely have to remove the a/c box (very difficult and lengthy process) to clean the drip tray in the bottom of the box. if it comes to that i would recomend modifying the box somehow to create a larver drain hole, and allow for a larger drain hose. if its clogged that bad after just 4 years, you will probably experience this problem again without enlarging the drain hole. hope this helps
