If its a High efficiency washer it doesn't use much water. Usually the front load washers are HE washers

Hello
Remember this washer is a water saver.I have the same question on my new washer. What i do is increase the size of the load.

My front loading Samsung washing machine does not seem to have enough water in it during the wash cycle. In fact, you can not see any water at all. The clothing only appears to be moderately wet.

run the unit with no clothes in once it has stopped check the water level. in the rear of the tub the water hould be 3 1/2 inches deep and 14 inches wide.and will taper off towards the front of the drum.

We just bought a front loading machine and it seems to have hardly any water while washing. How much water should there be? Right now it looks like only the clothes are wet but no other water sitting in...

Front load washing machins are very water conservative. In fact a lot of moldern F/L washers use so little water that it doesn't even come up to the bottom of the door.
If the machine completes it's cycle, it obviously 'thinks' it's getting enough water to continue..
IMPORTANT...Do not overuse detergent!! This can seriously shorten the life of a F/L...! You're treating the amount of water...NOT the amount of clothes...Happy Washing
Good luck....Nomess

The washer leaves water remaining in drum after the entire wash cycle, it becomes stale and makes my clothes that I was smell. My father's front loader, GE, does not leave any water in the drum

Hello

Check the drain tube,it needs to be 30 inches above the floor.

Also if the drain tube from the washer is too far into the drain the washer will not drain completly. The drain tube should be 1 inch into the wall drain.

Also check for kinks or obstructions in the washer drain tube.

Water in drum

The swish water sound that you hear in the drum is normal. There is some liquid in the drum for balancing. The washer doesnt use that liquid for laundry. The odor smell - you can get rid of it by cleaning your washer. Run empty cycle with bleach and hot water at least once a month. Also use washer cleaner - Tide recommended for a nice cleaner smell. You can get it from any supermarket.

Samsung Front Load washer has odour

IMPORTANT: Read thoroughly. DO NOT add detergent or other laundry products to this cycle.
1. Remove all items from the washer.
2. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
3. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
4. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
5. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
6. If the bad odour persists, repeat the procedure 1 or 2 more times. This may be necessary if this is the first time you have run this cycle.
7. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
8. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly.
To maintain the washer freshness:
1. Use only HE High Efficiency detergent.
2. Leave the door open after each cycle to for better ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
3. Use warm / hot water in your machine unless the fabric you are washing requires cold.
4. Use the correct amount of fabric softener.
5. If your laundry room is damp, use a dehumidifier.
6. Clean the door seal of visible residue.
