I am very disappointed because after firmware update I can no longer play HD home movie burned on regular 4.5 GB disc. That new firmware is a ****. Still has issues playing some bluray disc. Now can't use ANY DVD disc, even if it is burned in HD format.
Upgrading Firmware is a very dangerous exercise because it is non-reversable. It is important to make sure that the firmare downloaded is for the correct model and for the correct country. Repair for wrong firmware will only be replacement of the main PCB.
