Hi Nancy: Error Code F2 indicates
a loose or broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced.
Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective.
Hope this helps; thank you for using Fixya. Keep in mind that your feedback is important, leave us some testimonial comment.
f1 indicates a shorted touch pad ,if you want to make sure ,unplug unit ,disconnect touch pad from computer board ,if f1 goes away touch pad is bad.if not replace board
-F2- Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature
Is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds
“runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm
repeats the F2 alarm check the oven sensor and wiring after fi rst checking for a stuck relay. If alarm
goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure.
Another words the problem with oven sensor or relay board.
I used the self cleaning mode for 2 hours and the error f2 keeps flashing and beeping, I did try to power off with the breaker and left it off for about a half hour and it still continues to beep and flash f2, what should I do?
