Westinghouse TX-47f430S Will not power on. LED power indicator flashes blue then to red. Found some fluctuating voltage in the PS and replaced a ceramic cap and it cleared up part of that issue, but it will still not even try to power up. Even a link as to where I might be able to find a service manual would be appreciated.

There are some bigger electrolitic caps in the power supply that can cause this problem also. Testing with a ESR meter while they are in circiut doesn't always work, they need to be taken out and tested with a cap checker.

Its either the main or power board, check and see if you have a voltage change on the PSON pin when you turn the set on, if you don't then chances are its the main if there isn't a change I'd try the PS...good luck!!

This is known as SLEEP MODE problem.

Simple solutions:
1. Get a power surge protector / strip.
2. Plug your TV power cord to the power surge.
3.Then turn-on your TV using the remote control. Just in case it won't go all the way to normal state.
4. Turn-off the switch of your power surge like 5 times with an interval of 3-5 seconds.
5. Then repeat step 3 and 4.
6. These step is done to over-ride the sleep mode.

TX-47F430S seems to be the common problem of going back into standby. Powers up shows the logs and then goes back to low power. The light never goes blue. The fiber optical laser turns on and stays on but...

Westinghouse 47"lcd tv

are you using an hdmi cable or the red blue and green cables that came with the xbox? if using the original cables there is a switch on them that sets it to HD or standard. hope that helps
