I have a GE Spacemaker Dryer (DSXH47). A few minutes into drying all the lights along the right-hand side blink, the machine beeps and then shuts down. I have cleaned out the space beneath the lint filter and the exhaust seems to be free of obstructions. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.
I just fixed that problem with mine. I tried many, many things. Final solution was vacumming out the holes in the rear of the drier. (Prior to that, I removed the lint filter and holder, checked all connections and vacummed out that area. I unplugged the vent hose to confirm there was no cluggs. I found resetting the breaker would work for about a half hour.) Just vacum out the rear of the dry. Not only will the beeping stop, but as an added bonus, you cloths will dry much faster!!!
Good Morning friend, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, will run and then shut down after three or four minutes. I would recommend a reset on your dryer which you can do by unplugging your power cord for roughly ten minutes.
If that does not correct the issue it sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or a sensor. I would suggest having a professional come out and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
