Frigidaire GLTF2940ES3 Past few loads have been sopping wet when I go to remove them from the washer. I did a check and get E47 as an error code. Also noticed that when I did a drain/spin cycle and it was on final spin, it stopped with 7 minutes left. Could this be a clog or a door issue? Its only 2.5 years old, but it run daily for at least 2 loads. Thank you!!

I understand you are receiving an E47 when the spin cycle is supposed to start, on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E. The E47 code states that the control board of you appliance thinks that the door is open. This could also be a false error code. I suggest resetting your washer, by either unplugging it or shutting the power of at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
Cycle ended prior to spin segment. Checked error code history to find E47 fault. Troubleshot per manual. Found that the "PTC one-spot check" read ~1582ohms. Although the book indicates that this is sufficient and recommends (rather tells) you to replace the control board we were still skeptical seeing as this is a ONE POINT check on a device that is non-linear. We went with the lesser of two evils. Purchased and replaced a new door lock. Works again! Phew, that could have been costly.
