Hoover 600mb doesn't spin dry. Clothes just sit in the machine without moving. Water empties OK, but clothes are dripping wet.

Can you please give more details as to the valve. Part number? Where to buy? How to find it on the machine?

Valve blocked in rear of drum. Switch off power supply before cleaning. If the problem still occurs it could possibly be the brushes in the motor. both jobs are simple and very cheap to repair

Hi, My Hoover 600MB top loading washing machine is approx 8 years old. Recently it has occassionally not fully spun out - clothes still wet at end of cycle. Now it also often doesn't agitate - just...

Have a look for coins etc stuck in the drain pump or the tub outlet hoses especially where they fit onto the tub. If a coin or other foreign material blocks the water flow when draining , these machines wont spin properly.

Spins but laundry is still dripping wet

This happens to me sometimes. My washing machine doesn't drain right into the drain, I have a pipe coming out of the back of the machine that I have to hook into the kitchen sink myself to let the water drain out. My washing machine was still full and I realized that it was because my sink was a little blocked and so it was draining too slowly and leaving water in the machine. If there was too much water, it would sometimes help to put the machine on again or put it on a drain cycle. My machine doesn't have a spin cycle so it will just give your clothes an extra spin so I couldn't do that and my clothes would still come out dripping wet. I advise that you give them another spin before you take them out if possible! xxThe fact that the washing machine is spinning but not drying clothes shows that there is some problem with the outlet of water. The water outlet is blocked. You can check for the blockage yourself. Normally threads or other waste accumulate in the water outlet, and if possible you can remove it yourself. Otherwise call your washing machine's customer services center and ask them to send a repair man

The washer won't spin dry. It fills and empties but the clothes are soaking wet.

If washer is spinning but clothes are wet suspect a partial blockage in the outlet pipe. This will cause the water to drain to slow and leave some in the outer drum while spin occurs but this ends up back in the clothes.

Clothes still wet after wool cycle

Hi
For all washing machines irrespective of the make... Wollens and acryllic do NOT have a spin cycle as the same will damage the clothes....
In wollen and acryllic mode the machind is NOT supposed to go into a spin cycle and hence you get wet clothes.....
There is Nothing wrong with your machine.

Clothes are too wet after spin cycle.

There is a tube which runs from the side or bottom of the outer tub to the water level switch. Most likely, this has become a bit plugged up with (for lack of a better term) goop, right where it connects to the tub. Take it off and clean it out, or just cut off the last inch and reattach. What is happening is that the air inside is not able to escape as the water is pumped out of the tub, and the washer then thinks the tub is not empty, and thus it will not spin. After it sits awhile, enough air escapes back out the tube so that the machine knows the tub is empty, and it will allow the machine to then spin.

Top load does not spin dry the clothes

Transmission or solenoid that should pick and put transmission into spin. I bet it's a kenmore or similar.
