SOURCE: Forgotted the Ip of D-Link DP 300U print server
You may use the PSAdmin software to configure your print server even if you don't know the IP address. The only requirement is that the DP-300U has to be in the same network (subnet) as your PC running PSAdmin. In the PSAdmin, you will then be able to view or change the IP address.
Here is the link to download PSAdmin:
http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DP%2D300U#apps
Remember that if you also have forgotten the Admin password, you will have to ship the unit to D-Link in order to have it factory reset.

Can anyone tell me, what IP Address when reset to default? thx's...
SOURCE: DP 300U
DP 300U's can get be pretty uncooperative when attached to a different router. One solution is to reset the DP 300U to its factory settings. Use the PS Admin software to do this. (If you lost the PS Admin software, you should be able to download it from the internet.) If the software prompts you for a password and you do not know it, try "SYSXXXX", where XXXX is the last four digits of the MAC address located on the underside of the print server.
After you reset the DP 300U you will need to set it up from scratch, a process which is not particularly intuitive. Refer to your "Quick Install Guide" (download it from D-link's web site if you don't have it anymore).
SOURCE: what is the default password
The D-Link DP-301U Print Server does *not* have a password by default. If you have come into the possession of one and it is password protected, then it is likely that the previous owner added a password.
In order to bypass it and reset the Print Server, while the device is powered on, you will have to hold down the RESET button on the back using a paper clip for 10 seconds.
[NOTE: If this helps, please leave feedback.]

You can reset the router to factory default settings, press the reset button at the back of the router.
Please
note that after RESETTING THE ROUTER to defaults, ALL SETTINGS WILL BE
LOST AND YOU HAVE TO RECONFIGURE IT. Generally, after hard reset you
get the connectivity, however, you have to make the connection secure
etc.
Reset the router to factory default setting, press and hold the
reset button for few seconds (It is at the back of the router near the DC Power Jack). The LEDs will then blink and the routers factory settings would be restored.
Please note that, after resetting the router you should be able to see
the router and connect to it via LAN Cable or Wirelessly as the router
automatic assigns the IP Address and gateway etc. Before proceeding to
the next step please make sure that you are getting the signals as well
as internet. However, the internet connection would not be secure, which
can be done later.
Now, all
you have to do is connect to the router and secure
the connection follow the following steps: -
First
you have to access the router through web browser (Internet Explorer)
by typing the IP address of your router in the address bar, which is
192.168.0.1 (Default router settings are written under the router) (unless you've configured otherwise, the default username is admin and the password "leave it blank") and lookup for the options to do the
following: -
1. Change the SSID (Name) of the router
2. Change the default administrative user name and password
(The above step would prevent unauthorized access to your router)
Next step is to secure it:
1.On the left-hand side, under Setup, click "Wireless Setup"
2.Under "Wireless Security Mode", select your desired encryption method (preferably WPA2-PSK)
3.Choose a Network Key - it can be anything, as long as it's 8-63 characters in length
4. Click Save Settings.
Now your router and your connection would become secure and the user has to provide the network key to access the internet.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Hope it helps! Good Luck!
Don't forget to convey your feedback and approciate the efforts.
