When you say you changed the focus block, did you adjust each color individually ? Most projection sets are adjusted by covering 2 lens and focusing each one seperately. Try this , it has always worked for me

I installed the camcorder. How do I focus it? It is all blurry

There's a ring around the lens on the camera. Turn it either clockwise, or counter clockwise until the picture is clear.

Hello
Sometimes you may have turned the screen control counter clockwise more than needed. Just turn it clockwise a little more and come to the point there is some light on the screen, at the same time looking for rertrace lines, and just turn counterclockwise again to just turn off the lines if any.
You must do this placing the TV on a dark room, then only you can set this point correctly.
Note that the screen and focus controls are interactive, and sometimes the focus control should be adjusted to a little to get the proper focus.
You can do it I'm sure. Go on. If any doubts please don't hesitate to come over us. Ok.
Take care when you work on dark.

I bought the 10x25 camera binoculars and only one lens will focus using the center dial. Its almost like the other one needs to be focused at the eye piece itself. The pictures are not clear and are...

It is common for binoculars to have one independently focusable eyepiece.  If one eyepiece can be rotated, then that is the case.
If that is the case, focus through the one that DOES NOT rotate using the center control until you get a sharp image on that side.  Then rotate the eyepiece on the blurry side until the blurry side is sharp.  If you succeed at this, from henceforth the center control will focus both eyes adequately

JVC Digital Camera focus

Did it work before? If so then it sounds like the focus motor/screw jack has failed and needs replacing. With some JVCs you can replace the whole lens system and a new one will re-calibrate itself, but I'd have to check on this model.

Red blue and green projector lamps not lineing up on screen

Cover any two of the lamps first and focus the uncovered one. Then be sure to adjust the electrical focus of the same color. Then move to the next one and so forth. At its best you will have to decide which color is off convergence, and that one will be moved a bit out of focus, in this case the optical focus or electrical, tweak and you shall receive. Good Luck...

Blurry Images

Hello paulaspec,

You have a problem with the three factors, and they are screen voltage, focus voltage, and control (focus 2) voltage. Basically these voltages have to be adjusted since the components in this section have aged some. These controls are usually located in the television on the IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer) or as it is also called the flyback transformer. these controls must be adjusted together, along with the color controls. Here is how the adjustment is done (You will need a schematic diagram, a DC volt meter, and a color bar generator to do these measurments):

1) turn color and tint fully counter clockwise until you have a black and white picture.

2) connect the color bar generator to the TV (ch 3) and turn it on, you should see bars in various shades of gray

3) adjust as best as possible the color and tint controls to obtain the color bars on the screen Red Green Blue.

4) measure the voltages on the focus, screen and control grids of the CRT and match them to the schematic digram measurements.

5) adjust the focus screen and control grids to match the ones on the schematic diagram

6) once this is done then you adjust the color controls once again to obtain the red green and blue bars on the TV screen.

This should help if the CRT (picture tube) electron guns are still good and if the flyback transformer voltage supply is working.

However if you do not have a background in electronics please take the TV to a shop for repairs.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

JVC camcorder with blurred images

It could be an issue with the dioptre adjustment: 1 Set the Power Switch to ?A? or ?M? while pressing down the Lock Button located on the switch. 2 Make sure the LCD monitor is closed and locked. Pull out the viewfinder fully and adjust it manually for best viewability. So slide the rubber eyecup toward you. 3 Turn the Dioptre Adjustment Control until the indications in the viewfinder are clearly focused. The control is a litttle knob on the sied of eye-piece. While looking through the viewfinder, turn the knob until it is focused. Hope this helps. NewMediaMan

JVC AV-32F704 32" TV Picture is blurry - cannot read any writing on the screen

You didn't mention if you saw fine white diagonal lines running through the screen from top to bottom. If so, you likely have a shorted Picture Tube which is not usually fixable. If there are no lines seen running through the screen, then it is possible the High voltage transformer which also has a screen voltage and focus control built in that could be bad. I would expect the cost of that part to be about $100, so the repair cost total could approach that of a new set I would guess.

Blurry screen GE 25GT511

hi There shouldnt be much in the focus system to go wrong as really there is nly the tube base and the flyback transformer. The usual for a TV is the tube faulty so its beyond repair. You could try the focus control, this will be on the flyback transformer. Back off TV, look for a heavy lead going to the dome of the tube at centre top and with eyes ONLY follow that back to the flyback transformer. On the side of that transformer is 2 screws, one near the top is the focus control. You will need a screwdriver to turn it and it usually has a seal to be broken. That will turn from say 8 o clock to 4 o clock no more, turn it up clockwise, try both ways. if it almost fixes but not quite it would be the tube. good luck
