is there light or any option on the screen of monitor?

if you want to set up a dual tv monitor system using via pc as a source you will need a VGA splitter usually 2 or more output. now how are you going to connect the 2 monitor and PC to the VGA splitter. first make sure your tv monitor is supported by service input for PC unit. then prepare the accessories needed. the VGA splitter and VGA cable. sample image for VGA splitter VGA cable or connector how are you going to hook up the splitter and VGA cable to the tv monitor and PC

• you need 3 vga connector and 1 splitter to connect a dual monitor system.
• connect one end of the vga connector to the pc unit and the other end to the input port of splitter.
• now the 2 remaining vga connector connect to the output of splitter either of the port, then the 2 end wire you must connect to the input port ( pc service port ) of the 2 tv monitor. make sure you set up the right input either with the remote or at the tv unit to recognized the pc source.
• you almost done the connections now at this point plug the tv monitors, plug the dc adapter supply of the vga splitter and lastly turn on the pc unit to view movies. i hope it will help you just ask me if you have further questions thanks for choosing the fixya.

The 1525has a a hdmi port which you can plug a hdmi cord into. This may not support the audio. the tv and pc should detect the new monitor automatically or you may have to toggle it by hitting F4 key.

Try pushing the FN button, next to the left CTRL button, and then hit the F5 key at the top. By the number of times you hit the F5 button, you are telling the computer to display on its lcd screen, on the monitor (TV), both, or neither.

If there is no picture, just black screen.. then the cold cathode (backlight) on your monitor is busted. Or its ballast transformer is burnt out. Replace it to work again.

You can use VGA cable between the TV and your laptop. Attach the TV to the VGA port BEFORE turning on the PC, turn on the PC and hopefully it will detect the external monitor first, if not, then you have to use the HOTKEYS function (Fn key and One of the key with monitor symbol). The HOTEKEYS function will allow you to select both internal and external at the ame time , or just the internal only, or external only. You will also have to set the refresh rate for he external to be at 60Hz and the resolution not to exceed the maximum the TV can handle, should look to see what the native resolution of the TV is in PC mode.

you have a bad master and slave inverter board these are the skinny boards that go verical on the back of the unit
take you unit apart remove back and look at the back of the tv face down on a blanket remove all the screens take the back off remove those two board going vertical look up both parts on google or call or go to shopjimmys.com

Snap off/fully remove pins 11, 12, and 15 from a spare VGA cable and use this to connect the ILO tv. These pins are used for identification of the monitor by the PC. The video signal is now displayed perfectly on my ILO tv, in all supported resolutions.

sounds to me like a connection problem. If the compaqs output is vga, you need to convert the input (tv side ) to hdmi, component, s-vidio... what ever you can find. Typically when you hook up your computer to a flat screen or such, its best to try to use the hdmi ports or the rpg. But if thats not available you need to take the outout from your laptop ( whatever type that might be and input it into your flat screen tv. If you input laptop into tv under ( eg..HDMI) then when you VIEW it you need to select the correct source on your flat screen. Such as hdmi or pcmi or rpg.I know that the do sell alot of cables that adapt from one type of connection to another. Typically only one cable is required from the laptop to the flat screen. If you think about it you are only using the flat screen as a monitor.

Hi, I'm afraid that not only a cable is needed but an analog (vga) to digital (dvi) converter/scaler as well. The iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12 can hook up to a PC using the DVI-I connection only. As you said, your computer has the standard 1D15 pin VGA connector. Another possibility is if your video card has a composite video output (normally a color yellow RCA female) or an S-Video output which will both connect direct to your iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12. For the RCA connection all you need is an ordinary RCA to RCA shielded wire cable and for the S-Video, an S to S Video cable will work.
