You need to find the dip switches or jumper blocks on posts on the remote and on the fan. As for the receiver, usually they are in a separate unit that slides into the hanger bracket that attaches to the ceiling inside the decorative canopy cover, otherwise they should be visible if you are looking down onto the top of the motor without having to open any kind of access. And as for the remote, you should be able to access them through the battery compartment. just make sure the codes match.

Good evening I have a ceiling fan remote programmed for ceiling fan two, but remote one is missing is there anyway to reprogram the fan to the remote since the remote has no programmable keys?

Hey there, great question. Generally, if you can't find any way to program the remote through conventional means, then that means there is likely a ceiling fan dip switch inside of the remote, and one on the receiver that you'd have to set in order for the remote to communicate on the same frequency as the fan.

If you'd like more details on ceiling fan dip switches, the below article will help to explain what are ceiling fan dip switches, what they look like and how to troubleshoot them.

Hardwired ceiling fan turned off by itself and stopped responding to remote control, but the light turns on/off.

I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.

How to reprogram remote for liberty fan

It was an add-on remote so it really depends on the receiver. Locate the receiver, probably in the canopy cover at the ceiling, and see if it has 4-5 dip switches. If so, just change the settings by changing one of them, by pushing it up or down. Now, open the battery compartment of your transmitter and match the setting you just did to the receiver. BOTH have to be set on the same frequency.

Need to program Hampton Bay Ceiling fan remote control CHO88T7030T, HELP!

Change the battery. This is the first step when troubleshooting a ceiling fan remote. The easiest fix to any remote control problem begins with battery replacement. A 9-volt battery is needed to operate all Hampton Bay ceiling fan remotes.

Check the light switch used for the ceiling fan. The light switch found on the wall must be in the "on" position. This allows the ceiling fan to be operated by remote control

Re-program your remote. If battery replacement fails to get your remote working again, try to reprogram the remote. Open the battery cover you will see 4 dip switches. These switches must be set to the same position as the receiver on the fan. Use the screw driver to move the dip switches either up or down.

Follow the previous step to change the frequency if the ceiling fan is randomly turning on or off. Other electronic devices such as garage door openers can interfere with the ceiling fans receiver, causing it to randomly turn on or off.

Is not turn it on again when i press manually, not from remote control, on control parent

Try unplugging and replugging, then reprograming the remote. Also try removing the batteries from the remote, holding a button down to drain the power, reinstalling the batteries, and reprogramming the remote.
