Exactly the same problem and we bought ours in Jan 08

When first turned on, the image is blurry/flickering on one side only. After 5-20 minutes (sometimes faster, sometimes not), the picture is perfect and stays perfect. We had the sat company out to see if it was the receiver. The tech said not - definitely the TV. Never had a Sony develop a problem like this so soon after purchase. Any ideas on what the specific bad part may be, cost of repair/replacement?

The screen has failed. Well specifically one of the small baords attached to the edge of the actual LCD panel itself. It is not replaceable on it's own only with the LCD panel itself.

If the TV is under warranty, Sony is 3 years I think, then take it back.

What I could recon from your question is that your webcam driver is not installed in your PC.

Please be informed that any Driver software depends upon the hardware make and Operating System. So, you need to know all these information's to do get going.

Please find the Driver software's of your webcam inside the installation disk provided with the System at the time of purchase. In case if you do not posses the same then you need to download the driver software from the web. As you have not mentioned your \ Operating System you are using, I am unable to give you the direct download link. However you can download the same by visiting the website of the company that manufactured the Webcam.
http://www.vivotek.com/support/faq.php

Even here you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the Webcam Model number and the OS that you are using.

After you have downloaded the driver, to install just plug in the webcam on to your PC and then Double click on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.

I bought the 10x25 camera binoculars and only one lens will focus using the center dial. Its almost like the other one needs to be focused at the eye piece itself. The pictures are not clear and are...

It is common for binoculars to have one independently focusable eyepiece.  If one eyepiece can be rotated, then that is the case.
If that is the case, focus through the one that DOES NOT rotate using the center control until you get a sharp image on that side.  Then rotate the eyepiece on the blurry side until the blurry side is sharp.  If you succeed at this, from henceforth the center control will focus both eyes adequately

Flickering screen

Hello,

The flickering problem you have is caused by a failing power supply. There are parts called capacitors that are failing and causing the power supply board to put out pulsing voltages until it can stabilize. We have a repair guide posted on our web site at: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/samsung-214t-repair/ If you can soldethen you should be able to do the repair yourself. If you don't want to do the repair we offer a repair service for this unit. You can get details for that service here: http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/service-request-form/

I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.

Is the image clear or does the image start to fade.
Is it in focus ?
What model ?
If the image is out of focus or blurry, and after a few minutes of running the unit goes out, you may have had a power surge.
