Condensation What is condensation? I shot in cold damp weather last night. The camera was protected with a Aqua Tech cover, but today I noticed that my view finder has condensation on the inside of the glass. Can I do anything to get rid of the condensation? Thanks, Wayne

Will this condensation go away or do I have to have the camera fixed by someone?

Will the condensation in the view finder window clear up on its own?

See Condensation Can Cause Problems and how to prevent in the future link.

Yes it may clear with time.,but also can leave a dust ring behind when it does, otherwise it needs to be pulled apart in dustproof conditions and cleaned.

Condensation is the change in matter of a substance to a denser phase, such as a gas (or vapor) to a liquid.[1] Condensation commonly occurs when a vapor is cooled to a liquid, but can also occur if a vapor is compressed (i.e., pressure on it increased) into a liquid, or undergoes a combination of cooling and compression. Liquid which has been condensed from a vapor is called condensate. A device or unit used to condense vapors into liquid is called a condenser. Condensers are used in heat exchangers which have various designs, and come in many sizes ranging from rather small (hand-held) to very large.
The water seen on the outside of a cold glass on a hot day is an example of condensation.

The weather may play a factor here, many strange things happen in the winter, wait till warmer weather then monitor the light.

Freezer and frig not as cold

It sounds like the heater that automatically defrosts the unit may have failed. Before calling service I recommend checking the following: all door seals, make sure they are closed and sealing properly, also the condenser coil either on the back or bottom of the machine should be vacuumed out regularly to get rid of dust buildup. If that's all good it may be the defrost heater and if you're handy you can look up on youtube how to replace it or call a professional.

Car sputters at start up in wet or damp weather

spray your distributor wires and cap with silicone spray. If this does not work you will have to replace distributor cap as it will have a hair line crack in it.

1994 corolla: hard to start

If it is happening more frequently in cold or damp weather it could be a spark issue. Wet or damp weather can effect spark plug wires if there is even minor damage to them (usually occurs durring rain). The other things that come to mind are the fuel pump and lastly the fuel line check ball that is in the fuel tank. If it is leaking then all the fuel in the line will drain back into the tank over night (pressure lost in the fuel line) and this will cause repeated, extended cranking when you first start the car in the morning or after the car has sat for several hours.

Samsung Jet camera issues

light and blurry refers to light being physically altered before getting to the camera lens....i.e. dust or condensation or simply smudging. If simply cleaning it with a swab of alcohol doesn't help, you may have to open up the case to get to the internal lensing where most condensation occurs........and don't forget to clean off the inside of the external lens built into the casing, if this is not the case, the only other possible solutions would be covered in the 12 mth warranty that came with the device....but remember, the warranty will be void if they know you opened the it. So my suggestion is to first go step by step through all available camera options to make sure your not set on night shot or some sort of augmented natural light view. even reseting the device cold do the trick, only this will reset ALL DATA in the device as well and should be backed up for your convenience

Ford thunderbird wont start in Cold weather

change distributor cap first and see how it goes could have a crack in it.Failing which you need to test the ignition module when its cold as sometimes a component will break down and not work when its cold ,this is very much a hands on type job so if dist cap doesnt cure it call a mobile mechanic

Camera not turning on.

if it was working until you opened it.
It may be worth opening it again to check you didn't dislodge the ribbon cable for the mode switch.
if you could only half open it or had problems getting the diopter control back in (eyepiece focus) there is a screw under the stick on fascia that surrounds the eyepiece lens (not the rubber bit) use a scaple to peel it back...

best of luck

Cant get Best Shot or View to dial up.

If your buttons aren't working properly I would send it in to Casio and have them fix it. I would call them and tell them that your camera needs sent in for repair and see where the closest place is for you to send it. You can call them at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1.

Has my F717 kicked the bucket?

If the LCD is "smeared" in record mode, it isn't the memory stick or any of the other solutions you've been offered. It's one of the following, I would guess: 1) condensation in the camera 2) loose or bad connector to the CCD or power supply 3) Camera is history. Hit eBay and get a new one BTW, It costs about $175 for repair by Sony (at least the last time I had a repair done on a 717). It's probably worth it as long as the rest of the camera is in good shape. Definitely cheaper than buying a new one or a used one. Sorry about your problem...
