Question about Garden

Mower will not start. Replaced spark plug, air filter and fuel filter. Checked oil. Fuse good. Makes the same sound whether the spark plug wire is hooked up or not.

The key word here is the sound, engine must have compression, put your hand over the carb and try to start, if it trys to **** your hand then you should have enough compression, if it doesnt then you probably have a broken valve- hope that helps

I have a cub cadet 54' zero turn mower I changed the oil. Oil filter ,air filter, gas filter plugs, put a new battery in it too but it still wont start

In order to have combustion you need oxygen, an ignition source , and fuel to burn. It sounds like you have your oxygen because that's at ambient air pressure and you have a clean new filter. New plugs is good but you might spark test the plug to make sure you don't have a wire problem and that spark is actually making it to the combustion chamber.(also make sure your spark plug is gapped correctly). And if everything checks out with the spark plug i would move on to checking the fuel supply. With the fuel supply it could be a number of things the Kawasaki engine that is on it has a carburetor so it could be a float sticking or a needle valve plugged also.

Type your problem for a solution...mowing for 10 minintes stoped to ceck blades started mower blue smokeout exhust. stoped mower checked oil will not start checked plug ,filter carbie and control lever

to check blade you tilted the mower and got oil where it should not be.
exhaust will clear out, check all controls to see if the spark is still there, allso a compression test check out a lot of problems. if it is low ,under 60 ,
just check the basic the three things needed to run- compression, spark, and fuel. always check things with the spark plug wire pulled of the spark plug. good luck

Lawn Mower will not stay running then will not restart

I think we all understand the frustation penaone.
I noticed u didn't clean the fuel tank, water, dirt, and rust in it can give u problems. But u need to clean the lines and carb. again also. One of the kids filled my mower gas tank with driveway gravel once, and after I cleaned things out, the mower never run so good. Also your spark may be grounding out somewhere before it gets to the spark plug. Check for a bad spot in the wires from the magneto. Some of that may be behind the flywheel though.

2008 Cub Cadet LT1042 Won't Start

If there is a fuel cup on the bottom of the carb take it off and clean it out real good. Take the fuel jet out and clean out the little hole by blowing it with air compressor or a real fine wire. The fuel jet is most likely the problem.

Poulan 6.75 Lawn mower will not start

Remove spark plug, clean and dry. Replace plug. Remove air filter. Spray WD-40 into carb opening; one second blast. Turn over engine, (pull handle). Engine should start briefly and run for 3 seconds.  If not, you are not getting spark to spark plug. If engine starts, you have a dirty carb and you can buy a rebuild kit from manufacture.

My lawn mower doesn't start

Hi Every 2 stoke engine needs three things to run:Fuel+oil/air mixture in correct proportions, compression and ignition.Remove the sparkplug and see if the spark appears when the piston in the cilinder is at top death point(almoust),if not check the flyweel key(not to be sheared).Check engine"s sealing(crankcase gasket, cilinder gasket,seals-crankshaft,carb gasket). Also the mufller(not to be clogged),disassembly the carb (check and clean it),fuel lines and fuel filter (check and clean them),gas cap tank vent(not to be clogged),the air filter. Please let me know. best regards savumihai71
