I replaced the door switch and latch on a Samsung washer and I'm still getting fl code front load any ideas

You will need your model number.

"FL" is a lock error (failure)... DOOR LATCH.
Service folks at SEARS will tell you...
"you need a technician"...

I detest SEARS ... after being a faithful Craftsman dweeb
for years... I now find them pushy... distant... pricy
(not to mention incompetent (I had a FULL WARRANTY
but it didn't bother SEARS - Elite washer issue

(3 months @ laundromat... REALLY ANGRY (sorry)).

REGARDLESS their on-line LIBRARY is no-so-bad.

It would most likely be the door latch/although the wiring between ccu and door latch/ ccu and touch pad or user interface should be checked with meter as that can also give the FL code ...Good luck

Sturdy little door, isn't it? Make sure you don't have extra water in the machine, as this will cause the door to not unlock. With that done,unplug your washer. If you can get the top of the machine off and reach down the front of the washer, you should see the latch mechanism. Push this down. Door should unlock. Now. Buy a new latch assemby.

It appears that the door latch safety interlock was damaged or broken when the door was opened mid-cycle.

The codes "fl" Failure and "do" Door Open, seem to indicate that the latch and/or door switch need to be replaced. I tried to find a drawing and parts list for your washer, based on the model you selected, but could not locate one. If you can get the full model number, you can check for the replacement part at searspartsdirect.com or call them to get the part number.

If you look inside the door of the washer, you can see if the catch (on the moveable door) or the latch, on the washer cabinet) is the broken or damaged.

The repair is relatively straightforward and easy to do, with simple hand tools. Just make sure to disconnect the washer power cord before doing any work on it. Once you've done that, open the door and remove the screws and you should be able to remove either or both, the catch and the latch switch and reinstall the new ones, once you have them.

That should resolve the problem you're having.
