You have two options here, place the wii remote in rice for about 1-2 days and hope that it gets all the moisture out, or you can go and get a new controller which I'm sure you've already considered I hope.
If it's only 4 months old, call Nintendo Customer Support and explain that your Wii no longer powers on. It should still be under warranty and they'll send you a new Wii.
Did you place the Wii remote signal bar above/below your TV? You don't mention it in your question so I'm assuming you haven't. If that is the case just plus the receptor bar in your wii and place above or below the tv and you will be fine.
Try new batteries in the wii remotes that are turning off. If you still have the problem with the Wii remotes turning off after replacing the old batteries with new ones then call nintendo cause you'll have a controller problem then.
If resyncing the controllers with new batteries does not work, it could be a problem with the bluetooth module in the WII. There are places to buy it but, you may want to contact Nintendo and see what they can do for you.
well sound like the controller got damaged from the aftermarket charger or batteries if the other one work fine then just call nintendo and tell them they should give you a return number so you can go switch it out with a new one at a store
