My Sony KP-53HS30 will not turn on.The power button on tv and remote does not do anything. I pushed the reset button on the remote. Nothing happened.

Sony TV;s will give a service code, count the blinks, eg; 2-6, light will blink X amount of times, hesitate & blink again so many times. Count and report back but, I would recomend to unplug the TV's power cord, to reset the TV's system. Unplug for at least 3 minutes. I hope this was helpful.

I believe this uit has a fuse on the AC input on the main PCB. Yu probably blew that fuse.
