Display Problems I have a Kenwood KDC - X482 car stereo radio. I cannot get the clock to display. What I do have is a rolling display of what is being played thru my usb port that I do not need. How do I take off the rolling display of what is being play and display my clock?

Press "Play/Pause" button for at least 1 second. Select display item by pushing Control knob "left" or "right" to show scrolling display or clock display. Hope this helps.

How to set the clock on a kenwood kdc mp228

You have to be in " Standby" mode

  1. Select Clock Adjustment mode: Push the Control knob to [FM] or [AM]. Select the "CLK ADJ" display.
  2. Enter Clock Adjust mode: Press the Control knob for at least 2 seconds. The clock display blinks.
  3. Adjust the hours: Push the Control knob to [FM] or [AM].
  4. Adjust the minutes: Push the Control knob to |<< or >>|.
  5. Exit Clock adjustment mode: Press the Control knob.

Hey, got a problem with a Kenwood KDC-7007..

Tray this:
In the code request mode,press and hold CLOCK and VOL UP key for aprox 3 seconds to enter the code cancellation mode.
You will noticed on the display after CODE the lines will disapear.
You need to enter "KCAR" from the remote control as follow:
1)press 5 twice K
press>>
2)press 2 twice C
press>>
3)press 2 once A
pres >>
4)press 7 twice R
pres>>
display may show APROVED and is ready to play
