Why does my LG flatron 1953T LCD monitor (19') goes white

Why does my LG 1953T LCD monitor (19') goes white when i try to power it up. The CPU was tested and it's okay with other monitor.

Because the fuse on scaler PCB is blown. Open the monitor, open metal cover, disconnect all cables coming between display and boards, take the chassis off the display.
On back side of display you will see metal cover, mounted with tiny screws, take them off. Unscrew the board also and carefully tilt it up. Observe tiny chip fuse (referenced F1 or FU1 or something with "F") somewhere nearby the connector, ring it, replace it with solder drop.
Take everything back together.

Hook a spare monitor to the computer, if the same symptoms occur the problem is the Video Graphics Card in the computer, but if the picture is okay, it is clearly the LG Flatron that has the problem, and if possible sub the video cord from the computer to the monitor just to be sure.

Check your VGA cable if connected properly to your CPU or Video Accelerator Card,if connected properly,try another VGA cable and if the problem persist you need to try another source.

My 19 " LG Monitor
If you have a problem getting into safe mode using windows Vista or 7, boot up your computer. As soon as it tries to start windows turn off the power. When you try to start it again it should come up with a menu asking if you want to use safe mode or boot normally. Select safe mode.

My lg monitor always turns off and says "ANALOG SAVING MODE" and my cpu turns off too i dont know if the problem is on the cpu or monitor
The CPU should not turn itself off, it should run without the monitor attached, you can try reseating all the cards and memories, blow out the dust built up inside the box and the power supply. Please post back what you find.

How do I turn the monitor in
It sounds more likely to have power supply failure if you hit the power button and it does not turn on.
Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply. You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

My lg flatron model w1934s was working fine but now it will not come out of power saving mode at all. What should I do?
Try turning it off and hold the power switch in for about a 30 seconds. This may help to reset the monitor. Afterwards, try and power it up again.

check the fuse in the power cable.. also check the power block that you are plugged into, hopefully it's just a fuse blown somewhere

also check it's refresh rate, are they enable, if not then the VGA card did not accept the LCD properly. load the lcd drivers seperatly...
