Go to tv settings and do a channel scan. This should fix the problem. If not then hope is still in warranty.

SOURCE: channel selection

What you need to do is take the remote, go into the menu, find channel scan and do a channel scan to find all the available stations available on this system. Make sure the TV set is in the cable mode and not antenna mode or you wont get any stations above channel 13.

I was told that in order to view 2 different channels at the same time u have to subscribe to SKYCable and use the digital input instead of the antenna input and the antenna input you will have to use the regular antenna since there is only one tuner in the TV

SOURCE: I can't change channels, message on TV says,'' no input available''.

Have you tried reprogramming the Dish remote with the Sharp code? That might bring back the TV control. Another option is to use the TV's control panel menu button (if available), go to the setup choices and have the TV scan for channels while the Dish receiver is on. It will find channel 3 then, and probably nothing else, so the set will stay on that channel.

are you on a cable box? You need to use the providers channel changer. Tv is made to stay on one channel like channel 3 and the cable box runs the different channels.

Tuner appears to be stuck in channel 4. Cannot change Channel.

It is a tuner selector problem, either the processor controller ic is the problem, or the selector ic. The easiest solution use a VCR as your channel changer, and check to make the VCR is set to channel 4.

Channel changer from the remote? or from the TV? if it is from the remote, that's an easy fix, take off the batteries open the back of the remote, clean the circute board the one that is painted green, clean the remote contact pads as well the one that has a black dot like thingy with cotton balls slightly damp in rubbing alcohol, let it dry put it back together and replace with a new battery.

TV channels

Sounds like it lost programing, if it has an "auto program" feature try that, or some older models need it to be done manualy and have a "add/erase" feature, instructions for that should be in your owner's manual.

Record one channel while watchign another

Ouirkygirl, a TV\VCR combo can only watch TV on a channel & record THAT channel. If the monitor is connected directly to the VCR then u should be able to RECORD what u see. Do you have a separate channel changer [buttons that say up\down channel ?] on the face of the VCR portion? If so, then u should be able to change the channel ON the VCR, record that channel, then change the channel ON the TV, .... I don't think so,.........any thing is possable

please explain your words :: "but when I record something it jumps to tha channel evern if I am watching something else at the time."
