I will list here for you the instructions for readdressing the remote to the 4500 DISH Network receiver after this post. Instructions for addressing the remote to the receiver box

Go to System Info screen.You can do this by pressing the power button once and release and the channel up button once on the front of the receiver box. If the first option does not work you can also pull out the smart card.
Once you are in the system info screen you will see remote address at the bottom of the screen.
Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.Change the number to something different then what is already listed next to remote address.
Press the pound (#) button.
Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful, the number selected in step 4 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

We purchaed a new LCD tv and now our Dish Network receiver does not work with the remote. The Ttv works fine with te remote but not the receiver.

Hello Haley_cb, this is Cheri Torres with DISH Network customer service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could be of some assistance. There are a few steps you can walk through to get your DISH remote addressed to your receiver again. First you want to make sure you DISH remote is in SAT mode, you can insure this by pressing the SAT button at the top left of your remote. If you have insured this, here are some instructions on how to address your DISH remote to your receiver again. If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to post back here or you can also email me at Cheri.Torres@Dishnetwork.com.

Go to System Info scree. You can do this by pressing the system info button on the front of your DISH Network receiver box. Another way to get into the system info screen is by pressing the power button once and then the up arrow button once on the front of your receiver. If both options do not work you can try opening the smart card door on the left side of the receiver and pulling out the smart card.
Once you are in the system info screen, hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.

Hi, this is a common problem and usually happens when you change the phone to another network, all you need to do is contact your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest wap and mms settings, they wont charge for sending you this, they send them via text message and this will then update your phone to the correct settings and this will then solve the problem you are having.

Hello Friend,
Here is the procedure:

First you’ll need to get your Network Control Key. The Network Control Key is a 8 digits unlock code. There are two paths to get your NCK. You can either call AT&T or ask for it. You may have to ask them to put you through to their tech department. If you’ve never signed up for AT&T’s Service they may not give the code because your not a customer. The other way to get the code is to contact a cell phone unlocking service. They usually charge around $20 to get this code for you.
Once you get the Network Control Key power off the phone.
Remove the SIM card.
Power on the phone back on.
Enter #7465625*638*
Enter Network Control Key.
Press “OK” Soft key, not the Send or OK hard key.
Power off the phone.
Reinsert the new SIM card.

do you need a p.u.k code ? if so then you will need to contact your network provider and ask request a puk code who will be able to unlock your phone .
