Problem solved. I removed the memory card and reset the tomtom replaced the card and presto it accepted the password . Imust admit that Idid doubt whether I put in the wrong numbers as Im in my late seventies and do have senior moments Thanks for your advice to contact tomtom support but that proved very difficult to access .
