HI.intermitent faults r allways abit problematic .but run through some basics ok?1-after defrosted freezer works ok?2-how long for.if ok then all u can do is change defrost timer and t/stat one at the time or together.clean condensig unit thoroughly.good luck.ali

Its defrost problem, the freezer should cool, then freeze, then defrost cycle should start. In your case freezer is cooling, then freezing, but its not defrosting. That's why fridge section is not cooling.-------

This is a symptom of a defrost failure. Timer, heater, thermostat or all three.

The water line runs through the door and this is where it freezes. It's usually defetive insulation. Other than replace the door you may can tape or other wise fasten more insulation to the inside of the door in the area you think it's freezing in.

check the drain system may have got blocked....

Check the thermostat, to make sure that it is working properly. The theremostat is a long wire in the top of the freezer up near the fan. If that is bad it will not let your freezer cool correctly

first check you freezer back for frost if a lot of frost defrost the whole freezer ,,, then plug back in and see if it will work..
