The memory wire(yellow) should connected to a constant 12 volt source( battery).

Selecting the station. 1 Select tuner source Press the [SRC] button. Select the "TUnE" display. 2 Select the band Press the [FM] or [AM] button. Each time the [FM] button is pressed it switches between the FM1, FM2, and FM3 bands. 3 Tune up or down band Press the [4] or [¢] button. During reception of stereo stations the "ST" indicator is ON. 1 Select the band Press the [FM] or [AM] button. 2 Select the frequency to put in the memory Press the [4] or [¢] button. 3 Put the frequency in the memory Press the [#1] - [#6] button for at least 2 seconds. The preset number display blinks 1 time. On each band, 1 station can be put in the memory on each [#1] - [#6] button.

lost the plug for my kenwood kdc-119 cd player. i made a plug but the wiring color is not right. can anyone tell me what they are from top left and go right, then bottom left and go right? thanks

AUX input won't work

The red and white RCA terminals on the back of the unit are generally outputs for amplifiers. To use AUX the unit will need to have a 3.5mm jack in the front or rear. If not than the unit does not have AUX input capabilities.

Kenwood kdc-119**

No, you have the battery wire hooked up to the ignition switch.
Here is the owners manual with wiring diagram.

Yellow wire must go directly to fused HOT (battery).Not through ignition switch, red goes to switch.

Kenwood KDC-119 car stereo problem

There is a small hole at the bottom of the stereo face that will reset the system. I pushed a pen tip into the hole and it turned the stereo off. When I removed the pen, the system turned on and the CD ejected. Problem solved.
