Hi. On my printer there is an error 0x0... message on screen. I have done the reset, with pulling the usb cord out and then placing it back and also unplugging it. Can you please assist me? Thanks

Tommiv,

FYI: Simply pulling/replacing a USB cable or pulling/replacing the power cable does not perform any sort of reset.

Full reset:
a. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
b. Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.
c. Wait until "Semi full reset" displays ("Semi" appears despite the fact this key sequence is defined as a full reset).
d. Answer questions - Language/country, etc.

Partial reset:
a. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
b. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
c. Wait until "partial reset" displays.
d. Answer questions - Language/country

Maybe this will help,
terry

FYI: Simply pulling USB cable out and replacing it does not do a reset. Same with pulling/replacing power cord. From my experiences with this printer, one can perform the following types of resets:

Semi-full reset:
a. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
b. Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.
c. Wait until "Semi full reset" displays.

Partial reset:
a. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on.
b. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
c. Wait until "partial reset" displays.

Please goto the HP website and see if there is a firmware update for this machine. Download and you can also download the procedure.

It seems to be that it's a controller issue and reinstalling the firmware will usually resolve the problem.

Hope can be some help

I have a HP Office jet 7310 all-in-one. Printing stopped and an error message that says remove and check cartridge on right. I did, but the error message won't go away. What can I do?

Cold reboot. Disconnect all wires and cables after shutting down as much as possible, leave disconnected from power and computer for 3 minutes then follow OEM instructions for hook-up and restart

Our HP OfficeJet 7310 is giving the error message, "Phone off-hook". We have tried restarting it.

I had this same problem. I changed the phone cord to a 2 conductor DSL phone cord. Problem solved. Try it. It should work for you.

Hi,

If you are get that error message than unplug the power cord, and than press Poun and Number 6 Keys together on the keypab of the printer. While these keys are pressed and hold, than at the same time plugged in the power cord and dont release the two buttons.
After say 30 second you will get a new message on the screen of the printer.
All of the above steps actually reset the printer. I hope this will work.
