Re: Have to hold power button in to keep monitor on
That power button internal switch has gone bad. They are usuallya rubber boot which presses 2 peices of foil together. Once it goes bad, it has to be replaced. No easy fix or temp solution.

All I can possibly say is to hold the V+ and V- and Power at the same time, it is kinda tricky. hold it for a while then it should show an Android laying down. Wish I could be more helpful.
This is because the monitor's Power Button Lockout function is enabled. Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to unlock the Power button function. Your sleep problem should also be related to the lockout issue.
How to unlock HP 1940 LCD monitor?? i try with holding menu button and power also..but didnt show me unlock...i hold like 1min even more...and its keep to blink OSD lock...and Main Menu on my screen. Can u tell what i need to do Thank you
OSD (On Screen Display) lockout. To resolve the issue you can hold the power button of the monitor until you get another message something similar to "OSD unlocked"
Normally the OSD lock will only be displayed for 5 seconds. Regardless you should be able to get rid of it by pressing holding the up arrow key for 10 seconds. If this fails to resolve the issue try this. Disconnect power cord. Now press and hold button 1. Plug the power cord back in. You may have to press the power button while still holding button 1. The OSD lock should clear after that.
Hope this helps.
On the XF-45, you push the "UP" button and then the "Menu" button and hold both of them for approximately 20 seconds. After that you will see a bunch of numbers in the top left hand corner of the screen. Using the Left and Right arrow keys, move the "Group" number until it reads 111. Then using the Up and Down arrow keys to scroll through each lamp (0-3).
If you move the "Group" number to 110, you can see total number of hours that socket has run.
