Is the Fitbit alta hr waterproof? Can I go swimming with it?

Alta HR is rain, sweat and splash proof, but not shower or swim proof. If your tracker gets wet or if you sweat in it, remove and completely dry the band before putting it back on. Give your wrist a rest by taking the band off every now and then, and regularly clean your band and wrist. Shop Fitbit Alta HR for more details

Manual for Alta Fitbit How do I set the time and date for my fitbit

You set the date and time from the Fitbit App or Fitbit Connect when you setup or sync the fitness band with the computer/tablet. Open the Fitbit Dashboard and then tap (or click) the Account icon. Enter the Advanced Settings menu and check the Time Zone section. If needed, turn off the Automatic option and manually set the current time zone. The Alta will display the date and time based on the time on your computer/tablet when you synced the devices. See https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1176/?q=set+date+amd+time&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=2 . This is the "How do I change the time on my Fitbit device" FAQ.

Alta has the manual for the Fitbit on the product support page: https://help.fitbit.com/?p=alta . The direct link to the manual is https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_alta_en_US.pdf . Additional device help is available at the help page: https://help.fitbit.com/ .

I hope this helps.
