Mom bought a rca tablet a little over a year ago. Its noy used very often. However, i cant get tablet to come on. It is charged. What can i do?

Try turning on while connected to power supply, sometimes after not being used for a while batteries die, they appear to be recharged but are not. If it turns on while on power source you will need a new battery.

My tablet wont charge

If the cable has a micro USB connector (most android tablets do), then the connector is likely the problem. With the cable plugged in, there should be a light to indicate charging. It would usually be orange until charged, when it turns green. If you don't see the light atall, the connection is bad. Try wiggling it to see if that helps. If it does, then you will need to make sure the phone is charging somewhere so that it is not subject to being moved at all, which might cause the connection to become loose. The phone will charge faster if it is off.

My kocaso tab wont turn on whille charging

Please make sure the tablet is charged for at least 4-6 hours. Also, make sure the correct button is being used, oftentimes we hear the back or home button has been used in error. If the issue persists, you can try performing a power reset. There should a power reset button near the charging port. It looks like a tiny hole. While plugged into the charger, use a paperclip to push the button inside this hole for 3-5 seconds. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

If your tablet does not have the reset button: With the tablet plugged into the charger, hold the power button for 10 seconds then click the volume up once. If it turns on, please allow it to charge for 4-6 hours before using it. If you leave it on the charger for longer than the allocated time, you will go back to having the same problem as before. If the power does not come on, please leave it plugged up for 4-6 hours then disconnect it from the power and turn it on.

My dad gave me a RCA tablet. and I have no clue which version it is it says that the models is a RCT6378W2. when he gave it to me all it has was a cover on it. my dad said to go to walmart and buy a...

Here is a link to the users manual for your tablet.

There is a hole on the back of the tablet that you can stick a paper clip in to reset the computer. If this doesn't work then I would make sure you have the right charger for the tablet. You have to use the round DC charging hole to charge it. It will not charge thru the USB port.

Asus transformer T100T battery takes hours to charge & tablet won't turn on

So, greyhen2, we meet again. Here's the answer I gave to your other posting of this same question:

The battery on the Asus does take a very long time to charge (over 12 hours before you use it the first time, then 8 hours or more each time). It takes even longer if you charge it from the USB port in a computer rather than connect it to its dedicated charger, or if you use it while it's charging. If you've already charged it for 8-12 hours, try turning it on by pressing the power button *and holding it down* for a couple of seconds before releasing it. Then, when using the tablet, try keeping it hooked up to the charger when possible, or at least recharge it overnight.

You can check on battery charge by tapping "Settings" at the bottom of the Home screen, then tap "Battery" in the Device category. The % charge will be at the top of the screen. I enjoy my Asus tablet, and it's good for several hours at a time between charges, but you do have to keep it charged up. Good luck!
