I’m looking for a replacement remote for my nuovo tv. I tried a cheap universal remote but it didn’t have my tv listed. I did use it to automatically find the correct code but to no avail.

I would buy as many different universal remotes as they have from Target or Walmart and try them until one works and return the others as not needed. You could also try e-bay or BestBuy to see if they have access to a remote for your model.

SOURCE: ILO universal remote code

I had the same problem trying to program my satellite remote to work with the ILO tv. I found that the emerson codes DO work. Yes local cable remotes will work as long as you have the code and the brand is getting more popular. The code that worked with both cable companys, Charter and DirecTv was 10171 I believe. You can find it under the Emerson codes. Hope this was helpful.

SOURCE: remote control code/daenyx tv/dvd combo

Your TV is made by Daewoo and is distributed by Daytek. If you call the 800 number on the warranty card you will reach Daytek.
So, what you need to know is this:

#1. A lot of new products won't have a website available. That does not say anything to their quality or the company, just that you've bought a new product and you're one of the first purchasers.

#2. A lot of times if you buy a "no name" TV, you're actually getting components inside the TV that are made by brand name manufacturers. For example, "Prima" uses LG panels in some of their plasma TVs (as well as Daytek). How do I know this? Because I'm the authorized service provider for Daytek, and Prima and quite a few other "no name" TVs, and I've been working on LCD and Plasma since they came out, as well as having worked in the electronics repair industry for over 20 years. I own an Insignia 42" LCD and am quite happy with it.

#3. Most new products that have remote controls will not have codes available for them no matter what brand of universal remote you buy. You have to wait for the people who make the universal remote to have time to make a code for this new brand of TV. This can take up to a year for cable companies, and cheaper universal remotes may never get the code. Expensive universal remotes may be able to have their firmware updated through the internet, so adoption of new codes for new products may happen faster.

#4. Stores like Walmart and Costco are excellent places to buy products like this because they usually have a "no questions asked" return policy if you get the TV back to the store within the stores time limit for returns (some stores are 15 days, some are 30 days, phone the store and ask them). I had purchased a 40" Digistar LCD TV from Walmart what had a flickering problem, I took it back the next day without any problem at all. Then I bought a 42" Insignia Plasma TV from Future Shop that I wasn't happy with. I took it back 3 days later and had no problem at all. As long as you know the stores policy for returns and follow the policy, you won't have any problems either.

#5. Try to avoid buying big-ticket items from smaller stores unless you know their return policies. Some smaller stores will not accept returns on LCD monitors, TVs or plasma TVs but instead require you to handle any problems through the manufacturer.

#6. Best bet it to call Daytek and ask them if they know of any universal remotes that work on that particular model.

Need universal remote for NADC720BEE

Question edited for clarity.

No one buys Universal Remotes these days, they are so 1980! You buy a Facsimile Remote, an exact copy of the original like this one.

I have a Stang ST-620+ Universal tv remote, looking tv code for all wharfedale tv models

wharfdale TVs are rebadged by Argos, so I am unsure of the actual manufacturer, and therefore the control signal scheme that they use.
It might help if you gave the model number of the particular TV, as they could be using several different manufacturers in their range of televisions.
it is unlikely there will be a single code that covers the whole range of Wharfdale Tvs

What Universal Remote Control should I buy to replace my original remote?

Almost all universal remotes have a code list included. Also, if your unit isn't listed the instructions will tell you how to search automatically for your particular tv, vcr, dvd, etc.

Remote not working.

Sometimes when you program a universal remote, it will automatically assign the first code it comes to for that brand of t.v. If you continue past that code as if it didn't work, there could possibly be another code that will give you full functionality. Good Luck.

Need the universal remote code

If it's not in the list of TVs and codes that came with the remote (or should have) it means the set is too old to have been included although it shouldn't apply to DVD combos yet.
Universals are very cheap, however, they sell in £1 or 99p stores here (I'm assuming you're in the USA?) so try another brand and see if your TV is listed. If possible, ask to look at the list before buying. Look online for lists of what remote covers which TVs.
There may be partial success whereby some Sylvanian codes operate the TV section but not the player - or vice versa.
